We enjoyed our anniversary dinner at Ruthâs Chris. The food was delicious, and our waiter, Joe, was attentive without hovering. We had a free anniversary champagne toast and weâre offered a complimentary cheesecake. Itâs an expensive restaurant, but for a special occasion splurge, itâs worth it.
Went to Ruth Chris for our anniversary dinner. It did not disappoint. We were greeted right away by a friendly hostess (didn't get her name). We had a reservation and were seated at our table within a few minutes of arriving. Our waiter Vinnie provided amazing service! He gave great suggestions and was friendly and quick. Our food was delicious! My husband had the ribeye and I had the petite filet w/shrimp. We also had calamari, garlic mashed potatoes, brussel sprouts, and a backed potato. The calamari was good; however I thought the sauce would be on the side and instead it was poured over the calamari. It was good; however, I would have preferred the sauce on the side. Our waiter Vinnie brought us an anniversary dessert, cheesecake w/berries. So good! My hubby had a glass of wine dinner and I had a lemon drop. One of the best lemon drops I've had. I highly recommend this restaurant and plan to go back for sure. Thank you Vinnie for great service!
The service was terrible and the pace of dinner was too long. The steaks were cooked well and seasoned nicely however for the price of the meal, the overall experience was underwhelming and disappointing due to the service. Our server could not be found when we needed him for example to inquire about the excessively salty (close to inedible) lobster mac n cheese, or to cancel drink orders because it took too long. Additionally, our party poured our own water throughout the evening, which is not great value considering the poor service and salty food. Furthermore, the joke of the evening was that our large party could have walked out without paying and they probably wouldnât have come back in time to even notice. Will not be dining here anytime soon and would not recommend having party or celebrating an important event- it will not feel special.
We usually go and sit at the bar for some drinks and dinner. It was so cold today! At least 3 people said something then left. It made me want to eat fast to leave the bar.
Great atmosphere, and the food was delicious. Service is still outstanding as well. Will eat there again soon.
The tomahawk steak was amazing. The drinks were good. The spicy shrimp are a must to come back for. I wasnât a fan of the lobster Mac and cheese. The employees were very friendly and knew a lot about the place they worked at and very helpful check on us many times through out the experience. Will definitely be coming back.
