Couldn’t wait to try Mona’s in Pleasant Hill since I have read about the making a “best list”. An added bonus is that they have a daily Happy Hour from 2-5 which includes alcohol as well. My hubby had the Diablo burger on HH menu with the fries. His was good because the jalapenos and onions are sauteed and cheese melted. I ordered the classic burger and substituted a salad for the fries on the HH menu. Mine was pretty dry, tasteless and overcooked – and I guess that is what you get for a 4 oz patty. The bun was burnt as well. What a dissapointment - For a difference of $1.75 I should have ordered the full 8 oz size. I would probably return but not for the HH classic burger.
Been here a few times before. Don't do burgers often but when we do this is were we go. Wasn't busy on our visit and we opted to sit outside on the patio. It was windy bit luckily the patio is shielded fairly well.Ordered the drunken burger this time. Burgers come with greens when dining in not fries so you need to order those separately. Ordered large fries to split with my fiancée and ordered a strawberry lemonade to drink.Fries were excellent, don't always get shoestring fries from places by choice but these were excellent. Burger was wonderful. They do serve shakes but there was no way I was getting anything for dessert after because I was stuffed. Excellent place to get a fancy burger.

We ordered two specialty burgers and both of them were completely plain, they didn't add any of the toppings. They tasted burnt and lacked seasoning. Fries and sweet potatoes were utterly soggy and cold.
Excellent burgers and shakes! Many choices for both. Meat was cooked to our specifications. Also got a dill pickle!This Mona's has great decor and a wonderful selection of paintings and pictures to look at. Small and quaint spot. Warm lighting.

Excellent burger, fries, strawberry lemonade and a dessert-worthy chocolate shake to go. The wedge salad was also very good. The customer service was friendly and prompt and overall it was a great experience. They earned 5 stars; will definitely be back for more.
This is the first time I have been to this place. They have a large outdoor patio and just a few tables indoors. We sat inside. We ordered their classic burger with cheese and fries to share. Burgers we're cooked just right with all the usual accompaniments. Fries were freshly made and tasty. I recommend this place.
