Came here with the wife and her family to celebrate the son graduating from Kinder. I had called ahead the day before to see if they could accommodate a party of 11, so when we got there, as soon as most of the party had arrived they sat us down inside. The place looked very nice inside. They also had kids menus on the table for the little ones. The regular menu was via qr code. We started w/drinks of course. Spicy margarita which was pretty good, mai Tai which I was told was good. Mojitos which got mixed reviews. The kids got chicken strips/tenders w/a lemon aioli, fries, and hot dogs in a bun like a sandwich. Everyone was happy w/their food, although they were too young to appreciate the lemon aioli which was pretty good. The adults had a berry salad, which I was told was good. Fish tacos, which I was told was good but got soggy, Margherita pizzas which I was told was very good. Chicken sandwiches, the one I had was the Cody's because it had a spicy sauce on it. The sandwiches were good, but I've had better chicken sandwiches for sure. Service was just ok. We had to continuously try and get the attention of our waiter and/or server, and they never asked how the food was or if we were happy w/everything. Overall the ambiance was nice, food was ok, drinks were ok.
We Loved This Place! Everything was absolutely delicious. We ordered chips and salsa to share—-yum, I don’t know how you can make chips and salsa extraordinary… But they did it. Filet Mignon was fantastic. Fruit crisp dessert was a perfect way to end the evening. Fair warning though, the menu is somewhat limited and it changes day to day.
Came here for the first time during happy hour on cinco de mayo. Not too busy. Sat at the bar. Ordered the salad. Bartender had no idea what was in it but looked into it. The dressing was wayyy too acidic. Ended up covering it with another dressing to eat it.Couple next to me said that the food on the regular menu is pretty tasty. Not sure if I'll be back though.
This place was quite a disappointment. Lunch started out pleasant enough. We had a waiter who was attentive but after we ordered our drinks, we waited and waited. Until finally a new waiter showed up with our three iced teas. W/o the lemon and sweetener that they offered and we accepted when they asked what we wanted to drink. The meal came, we ordered 1 small pizza, an order of fries and a salad all to split. Food came, some of the fries were soggy and all were lukewarm warm, the pizza was barely cut and it was soggy in center, the salad was the only good part that had no issues. We had no plates or silverware so we waited for those to be delivered before we could eat. Then after the meal we did not see our waiter from the time the food dropped until 2.5 hours after the meal. We were sitting and talking but did not get a check in or ANY REFILLS on our drinks the entire time. I had to flag the waiter down to get the bill. The total…$98 dollars! $18 for 3 ice teas, without refills in very small glasses and a $18 dollar “Service charge”. Not sure what that service charge was about until after I read other reviews on this page. End of story is, I would not eat here again and advise against others dining here. Poor service and marginal food that is extremely overpriced. I asked the server about the overpriced teas and he got very snarky with me and defensive and asked sarcastically if he could get me a refill now as if that would be something I wanted after having finished my meal 1.5 hours previously….
Excellent service and delicious food! I had the best Aperol Spirit, and a blood orange salad!I can not wait to go back!!!!Had so much fun we ended up ordering the Sparkling wine!
My daughter surprised my brother, my sister-N- law and me with a Beautiful Brunch date!Superb Entrées! We gently cleaned our plates!?? Wonderful cocktails ?I highly recommend this VERY BUSY RESTAURANT! ??????JUST Dispose of that crack plate on both sides PLEASE!!!Yessssss… the food was that good!I didn’t want to complain!!
Ordered the Old Fashioned Potato Hash and my SO order the Chicken Sausage omelette which were both terrific. The bread the dishes were served on is some of the best bread i have ever had. Overall great atmosphere, food, service ……However 20 minutes after finishing our meals me and my SO nearly pooped our pants. Overall, my SO and I have shared a new bond fighting over the only bathroom at my apartment 10/10.
Great food. Great space. Best place to eat in Walnut Creek hands down. Cocktails are ridiculously skimpy and the wine pours not so generous either- despite the high prices. Not sure why they do this since they clearly get everything else done so well.
This is one of the very few restaurants east of the Caldecott tunnel that deserves 5 stars. Super high quality food, excellent wood fired oven and really interesting takes on old favorites. Cocktails are also some of the best around these parts. The staff has always been courteous, friendly, helpful and professional. Always make a reservation on the weekends.
We had dinner here because a friend took us there. The food is good, but expensive with small portion. They use to give bigger portion and not add 22% service fee to the bill. well, first time we paid the tip twice because we did not read the bill. YES, THEY DON'T TELL YOU THAT THE TIP IS ADDED TO THE BILL.
