The wagyu beef curry was absolutely delicious, veggie tempura was great too and a huge serving.

I love getting the chicken curry dish with rice. Have gotten it with noodles too, very good. Got the vegetable tempura dish, wow that was a big dish. If you get it make sure to have a friend to help eat it.

Got grilled eel noodles bowl (so good), fried oysters (wow), and wagyu beef sakiyaki. Loved it! Amazing food, fast delivery! We’ll definitely come here in person next time

We ordered the stir fry udon and wagyu beef sukiyaki don. For Walnut Creek it’s fine but probably only a 3 star if I had to compare it to eateries in Berkeley-Oakland.Flavor was good but my udon had a lot of mushroom, probably too much, and too sweet. Sukiyaki was also sweet too.I’m tempted to go back and try their tempura donburi because I saw a couple people ordering it and it looked pretty good.

Food tasted great, came to us quickly, and served steaming hot (my favorite!) The place is very clean. Excellent, highly recommended.

Nice new spot in downtown Walnut Creek. The Jidori karaage was okay (plain but not bland). The curry wagyu beef donburi was a surprise (curry was mild but the beef was really tender). Big serving although it might look like it. My friend had the katsu curry donburi and it was a big serving, too. Price is about right.

It’s a new place in the area and today was the first time I visited it, got some food to go out. The food is very delicious! I got my favorites - mixed tempura (personally for me it’s to die for) and signature stir fried noodles (I got with beef) ? yum! Prices are good. Highly recommended for those who want good for reasonable cost

Price is good, portion is great, the taste is excellent. There are many good restaurants in Walnut Creek and I have had difficulties in picking dining place when I visit Walnut Creek. After visiting Kokolo, I was amazed by the menu selection, authenticity and the taste. From now on, this restaurant is my no 1 to go dining place in Walnut Creek.

Parking is easy to find, staff is helpful and friendly. I found it's best looking up the menu before going, and have alternatives ready, just in case: this is a fairly new location. Many items to choose from, at great prices. We tried the Shitake bowl (fresh and flavorful), Wagyu beef with curry sauce and fried pork with Tonkasu sauce. Excellent cuts of meat and the curry sauce packs lasting warmth, much preferable to the more common instant 'hot' style I usually encounter.

My first visit here. My greeted by Dominic, who is the owner. We ordered the fried calamari as the appetizer and my girlfriend had the chicken udon noodles and I had the Unagi, which is my favorite Japanese dish. We arrived at 6:30pm and was told that the chicken wing appetizer was sold out. Dominic went back to the kitchen and gave us a complimentary plate of wings. Major points for that. Then I tried my Unagi. It was the best Unagi dish I ever had. It was d"EEL"ishious!
