Great Thai food. Decor is very elegant and makes you feel comfortable. Food is delicious. Kacha Thai Bistro is one of Walnut Creeks top rated restaurants. The Staff is very friendly and helpful. They explained each other Entree if you have any questions. We will definitely return to Northern California and eat at Kacha Thai Bistro.
Once you walk in the smell of rice grace you nose and that's when you know the food is going to be out of this world. Our starters were chicken stays and chicken larb. Which are both done to perfection the larb was not overpowered by the seasoning, and the chicken satay was done just right with great peanut sauce and a refreshing cucumber salad. We ordered the garlic qual, which is for people who love garlic, however the garlic did not over power the qual. I ate both of my quals with in seconds. Main dishes were the ginger eggplant chicken tofu, which the sauce that is made to go with this was amazing it was not too sweet it wasn't too spicy it was just right. Along with the Dungeness crab fried rice which was so good I did not want to share. This rice was topped and filled with crab, flavor, and more.
Service is quick and efficient, food came out within 10 minutes of ordering. The papaya salad was refreshing but didn’t have much flavor. The dungeoness crab fried rice was pretty bland. The sauce that came with would have been a good complement but it was too spicy to put more than a few drops. Price is not too expensive and decor is nice as well.
Ordered Chicken Fried Rice using DoorDash App on a Thursday evening right before closing. I arrived early than my pickup time. When prompted I showed my pickup information, they checked and reminded me that the order was placed only in the last 10mins and it was not ready. For some strange reason, I felt kinda weird, probably because how it was told to me. Food was delivered pretty quickly and served HOT! Taste is bland and I don’t recommended it.
My first visit at the recommendation of a local. Ordered a lunch special combination with Thai BBQ chicken, one of my favorite Thai dishes, and a green curry with pork. The curry was fine, the chicken was meh, no spice, no indication of grilling, BBQ or broiling. The skin was soft not at all crispy, the white meat was dry. Finally it had the distinctive taste of leftover and reheated chicken (the fat goes rancid). This was a Wednesday at lunchtime and the restaurant was nearly full.
Nice place to dine. Ordered Thai pineapple fried rice. Very tasty. Slightly expensive. Costed $50 for 2. Dessert not included.
Very good food. Anything you get is really I recommend all the seafood dishes
I got the green curry, the eggplant was cooked perfectly, it was a bit on the bland side as far as spices go. I also got the red curry with duck… this is where they lost me. I got taste the flavor of the duck and it was cooked perfectly as well; however, I tasted no curry or usual spices at all.and it was very greasy.I was disappointed because I was really craving Thai and I feel like I didn’t get that. I paid 29 forThe red and19 for the green, I feel like I should have gotten better.
Lunch with my friend and her mother. It was there first experience dining there for lunch. Compliments to all! Food and service was great.
