Had their “special” tonight. Risotto with prawns and asparagus. Risotto was nothing but rice with gravy. “Prawns” were chopped into pieces. Asparagus was sliced so small, I thought they were green onions.
Food is great! I have been eating at Ill Pavone for over a decade and have NEVER had a less than excellent experience.
We still love this place. Great Italian food by an owner and chef who has been doing this for decades. If you don't have room for dessert, order the panna cotta. It seems to slip into places in your tummy you didn't know about!! If you DO have room for dessert, my fave after the panna cotta is the bread pudding.
Don't come here expecting much and you won't be let down. Overpriced, lacking quality in taste or ingredients. Stays busy because it's essentially the only restaurant within miles.
My friend and I decided on dinner at the last minute. The food was delicious, the service was amazing. I’m definitely coming back. This is an incredibly well run family business. Let’s keep them in business

We frequented often this restaurant for indoor dinning with satisfactory results, yesterday however, we decided to try their pizza as our “usual” pizza place (Pizza Oliva) was closed. We ordered two pizzas at 4:40pm and we were promised that “around 5 pm we can expect delivery”. As we know from other experiences, it usually takes about 30 min from the time of the order for a pizza to show up at your doorstep, we decided to wait a little longer; Finally at 5:30, as the pizzas still did not show up, we called. Apparently, the delivery person just left when we placed the order and they are waiting for several delivery request before they actually deliver hence, we were told that our order will be delivered by 6pm - a full hour later than expected. As we are reasonable people, we would not complain about an hour delay IF somebody would have given us the courtesy of calling and letting us know about the delay… One thing is for sure => we will NOT order any more pizza from Il Pavone and will stick with pizza places who honor their commitments to customers!
