Short staff forever the few staff in kitchen is loud laugh hard scream ? no wonder they take forever to warm up a frozen sandwich. My son got a burnt croissant not coming back for sure oh no thank you

I have always loved Boudin clam chowder bowls! The sourdough is crunchy on the outside and fluffy and chewy on the inside.The staff is always friendly and the service was pretty fast, considering how busy they were.I'm a little sad they run our of the bread in shapes often. Last time I got a kiss meal and was expecting a fish- shaped bread, but got 2 slices on bread instead. I was just a little disappointed.The computer ordering system is also convenient, when it works, but I couldn't pay with my gift card.

I attempted an order online, pickup in-store order. The estimate pickup time was 15 minutes, easy breezey.The line for pickup was 10+ deep. The order took 45+ minutes.During my wait time, I saw them not include 2 bread bowls on separate orders, and croutons in yet another. Not only is the wait crazy, but the orders aren’t even correct!The server has snot drip from his unmasked face, which almost made me walk out.I won’t be returning to this Boudin!

Waited over 40 minutes after ordering for our food. Won't be coming back here.Edit: Finally got food after just under an hour. When we first asked about status, we was told our food was almost up. When reinquiring to the supervisor 15 minutes later, she grabbed our ticket and made our order - added two cookies. Not sure if ticket was lost, but the restaurant was definitely understaffed and everyone had longer wait times than expected. Boundin has reached out.

Ordered online for a 10am pickup but when I got to the restaurant there was a note on the door saying they'd open at 11:30 for "better customer service." How about updating the hours on your site or calling your customers with an update or answering the phone when I called? I showed up at 11:30 and they still weren't open! Once inside there were no apologies or explanations. I used to like eating there.

Very unhappy with this place. There was literally just ONE employee there that we saw the whole time. The poor guy was doing everything from serving food, dealing with customers and bussing tables. That being said, it was hard to find a clean table as people leave their finished plates on the tables to be picked up. We found a table but had to remove plates from it, then had to clean it ourselves with a rag and spray bottle we saw sitting by the drink area. We would have used napkins.... but there were NO napkins anywhere. you get one little napkin per plate once your food finally arrives. I've never experienced a food establishment with no napkins out! Food took about 40 mins to get to us. The waiter forgot our drinks, and that took another 20 to get to us after asking twice. It was understandable though as the poor waiter was extremely overworked and definitely overwhelmed by the mess and backup. The registers were unattended and you had to order yourself, which isn't a problem.... just unfortunate to not have anyone to ask something as simple as where are the napkins except the one guy dealing with 400 other things, and that comes out on occasion to bring people their food. I wouldn't go back. I'd honestly even feel like a burden going back adding customers and stress to the one person working the whole restaurant if that's how it is every day.

If I could give ZERO stars, I would.What an overall horrible dining experience. When we entered, no patrons or employees in sight - this should have been our first red flag. We proceeded to order via the self order kiosks and found our seats, which there were plenty to choose from. You would think the dining room would be cleaner since there was no one there but that wasn't even the case...THIRTY MINUTES later, our first plate arrived- a breakfast burrito that looked so sad. Another 5 minutes later another 2 plates arrived, incorrectly made. The Carne Asada torta was missing the red onions, avocado and lime mayo spread. The SouthWest veggie breakfast Burrito was missing the "southwest"- literally was just egg, potatoes & cheese- no bell peppers, avocado, onions or spicy crema.We advised the "manager" that our items were incorrect, and she hesitantly offered to remake. We knew it would be another 20 minutes but wanted our correct order and accepted the remake. 20 minutes later, we received the remakes and at this point are just annoyed at the entire experience.I asked the "manager" for her name, to which she replied she did not have to give me. Ok. I asked for the general managers contact information to which she gave me his name, only. I asked for a phone number, to which she replied I could find on the website. Ugh.Never. Again. Walnut Creek Boudin.Two thumbs down.Boudin Corporate - either shut this location down or get new management/staff ASAP because this is a poor reflection of your brand.

Sadly this is the Grilled Ham and Cheese I received - ( I ordered 2, both were made this poorly) I was there Tuesday 2/15/22 .. total waste of time and money

This place in San Francisco is known as an amazing as their service, but Walnut Creek location has poor management and untrained stuff. People was waiting up to one hour and more just so person will come out and said " we are out of your order do you want somthing else or refund " ? After all that time they made people lose precious time and money, some people left without refunds because they were mad and sure hungry. Unacceptable and this is not the first time.

Incredibly slow. So slow that even the family that ordered just ahead of me finished their entire meal before our two sandwiches were ready. Then my sandwich was wrong and had to be remade. We ordered simple sandwiches.
