A Friday evening, crowded but no wait to be seated. The menu has great choices, all of the homestyle favorites. We had the all you can eat fish fry special. Best fish I've had lately. We'll be back again on a Friday.
Service was excellent. Large portions of food. Their Classic Eggs Benedict had ham (luncheon meat) instead of Canadian bacon or a ham slab. Sauce was good with just a hint of lemon. The California Omelet was a little pitiful. There was a tiny slice of avocado on the top, and not a lot of cheese. By the time we left it was packed. We arrived there a little after 8am.
This particular Trip was a huge disappointment. I never ever had any complaints about this place, ever before this day. But this time I was baffled. The food was so freaking awful. The Benedict eggs were overdone in the middle, The hollandaise sauce was freakishly bland, The tomatoes were soggy and limp, The spinach was slimy, The English Muffin wasn't toasted completely, The avocado was perfect, the fruit was fairly fresh, The coffee was good, I ate as much of it as I could, cuz I was freaking starving, but I left a good portion of it on my plate. I really didn't have enough time left in my day to sit and complain, and send it back, and wait even longer to get it fixed. I do want to say the service, and the politeness, and the efficiency of the server was absolutely fantastic. Please do better guys, you are one of my favorite places to eat.
Long wait to get seated. Long wait to get your order. Waiter kept saying, "We're really busy" as if that would excuse the delay in getting our order. When the order finally came, it was the wrong food. The three stars is for the waitress who told us the cook is "literally in training" then promptly replaced my order, "literally" saving the day!
I order big foot steak. The onion ring is so dry . I guess is been fry twice. And the French fries is soggy. And the gravy is tasteless. Very disappointed . the waitress come after we finished eating. Everything all right? Never back again. For sure
The service was good, but the food was so terribly, obviously premade with no attempt to make it even look fresh. The meatloaf was literal patties that were individually wrapped and frozen and tasteless. The breakfast and burgers has always been good at other locations but this was not a very good visit, will try the burger at a different time but not too hopeful.
Amazing waitress with blue hair and a friendly, vibrant spirit
The trip tip dinner was less than desirable. Meat was tough and chewy. Baked potato was a joke. Loaded was more like sprinkles of 10 strings of cheese and day old hard to chew bacon, microwaved and still not cooked properly. Broccoli with carrots under cooked and the food was flavorless . Garnish was a wilted piece of lettuce and a sliver of an orange peel.It was not plated well. The water was disgusting and the lemon did not help .My server was kind and apologized. I didn't ask for a different meal or a replacement. Nor did I request a free meal or discount. I asked for a doggie bag literally and paid my bill, left a nice tip for the lady. It's too bad - I was anticipating some comfort food and instead was feeling mislead .
Refused to service us claiming their kitchen was closed down early. Their hours still had 30 minutes to go prior to them closing. Never heard of a business not seating people when their business hours are still open.
This is such a cute little bear themed diner. All of the artwork and knickknacks were bear and nature themed. The menu is a little folded up newspaper, which just adds to the whole thing! We got breakfast food and it was great! I got a chorizo burrito and my boyfriend got the sweet cream pancakes. We had never had sweet cream pancakes before, and holy cow were they yummy! Best pancakes around!!
