Things you need to know:No entry pass 12.Karaoke every night, BUT you will only be able to sing 3 songs at the most. (Long waits between songs and tons of singers)Prices are reasonable.All the regulars are VERY talented singers.
Total dive bar. If you like Coors and Budweiser, playing pool and karaoke, it was fun. It has very poor circulation and it was very hot in there. This place has a following and regulars. I have no reason to go back!
Honestly there good for one reason staying open late. Only do cash then the one ATM they charge you like 4 dollars each time. Like I said I have had good times there but let's be real it's called shittys for a reason!!!
You will not be let in after 11:30pm (used to be 12am). You can come earlier, get the stamp, leave and come back. Makes no sense to be honest. It’s not like they’re about to close. And apparently they don’t give everyone a stamp so how this works is beyond me, but it’s not great for new customers who are referred there and run into this issue. Very upset by this experience.
Based off the reviews it says to show up before 12am but they changed it to 11:30 no new customers. Beware that you WILL NOT be allowed after that time.

Great karaoke stage...makes you feel like a rockstar...also just a great classic dive bar atmosphere. Leave your pretentiousness at the door.
Little loud, but that's what you come to Smitty's for. Cash only bar, but they have an ATM. Greatest little dive bar in Vista.
Absolutely terrible. If you like abusive bartenders, pics of Ted Nugent on the wall, and bathrooms that smell like cesspools, this is the place for you. The bartender actually told me "write a Yelp review, I 'dgaf'", so I am writing every review I can.
Friendly crowd and awesome DJ. Drinks well priced.
