Healthy, delicious & reasonably priced. Great gluten-free options also!We are so excited to have this lovely new plant-based, delicious, and healthy small cafe in our Vista neighborhood! Run by a delightful family (Veronica & Mario…when we went today their lovely daughter was assisting also). This sweet little cafe is located in a small strip mall across the street from Shadowridge Kaiser. It is very clean, the help staff is attentive and friendly, the drinks and food are delicious, and there is both indoor and outdoor seating.Our first visit we had several different GF panini sandwiches (yummy!) We have been plant-based and gluten-free for over 3 1/2 years now and it is often a challenge finding restaurant options that meet our needs. Today we went in for a Saturday lunch outdoors on the patio and had Chilaquiles (Wow!) and a gluten-free burrito (Delicious!) The homemade sauces are amazing and the drinks are wonderful, with lots of plant-based milk options. We are incredibly grateful to have this little gem here in our neighborhood and look forward to returning!
Very cute little deli with super friendly owners. The food was delicious. We got the Happy panini and the dish of the day, which was chilaquiles. Both were very flavorful. We will definitely be making this a regular spot to visit.

I live a block away and watched as they were moving toward opening and thought, oh a cafe/deli that's nice hope they do well and was always going to support as a neighbor. But to learn just today, on my first visit, they are completely vegan blew my mind. I'm not vegan but always like the option and sometimes prefer it. Food and coffee is absolutely delicious! And I deeply appreciate their openess about their ethics and beliefs. Will revisit often.
My fiancé and I just went here for the first time and we were blown away. Food was 10/10, ingredient quality was 10/10 and efficiency and friendliness of staff was 10/10. We spoke to our server about the story of how the restaurant began and it was inspiring. All around a terrific experience and this place is a new staple for us - will be coming back every week.
I can see why it's rated so high! Tried the morning glory burrito and it was everything your taste buds want to taste in the morning! Rice, beans, just eggs, bacon, avocado, mozzarella cheese, homemade cashews roasted garlic cream! Yes it's phenomenal! Their coffee was also rich and delicious! Family owned and run super clean and friendly customer service!HIGHLY RECOMMEND TRYING IT OUT!

FABULOUS VEGAN FOOD!! First time there today and I had a chickpea tuna wrap! Incredible flavor! Fruit was fresh, fresh, fresh! Smoothies were wonderful! The Mexican Coffee Latte was glorious! Great menu - so many choices! Will have to keep going back just to try everything!A charming and professional waitress and atmosphere!You need to try Sabor A Vida Cafe right away!
