This review was left on my GrubHub order but I felt it necessary to post here as well:If I could give a zero for this whole experience I would. The driver, Gabriel, deserves a 10/10 rating, but this Rubio's experience was horrible. When our food was ordered, it kept getting pushed back. Originally it was expected to bedelivered at 8:45 PM at the latest, then it was pushed to 9:15, then 9:45-9:55. Once it was push to 9:15 I called into the restaurant to cancel since the app wouldn't let me. When I asked if it had been pushed back due to no onepicking it up they said the order was just taking a long time to prepare. Although I cancelled and ordered pizza which came within 20 minutes, low and behold our order still delivered at 9:45. After fighting with a GrubHub representative for 45 minutes requesting a refund (which only seemed fair considering I canceled the order) they finally requested the issue be escalated. I did receive a text this morning saying I received a full refund so I thought this terrible experience was over. The food seemed okay, it justcame 2 hours late, so one of the orders was eaten for lunch. While eating it, my friend found a DEAD BUG in the food!!! Definitely nauseating and I would HIGHLY suggest never ordering from this location ever unless you like receiving your food extremely late and having dead bugs
Amazing customer service! I came in on taco night and I ordered a ton of tacos for the family and a vegetarian bowl for myself.. When eating dinner I found piece chicken was in my dinner the vegetarian bowl... erg... When I called to complain, Ariana the general manager went above and beyond to do whatever she could to make me happy! I was thrilled to see customer service still exists when you hardly ever see it anymore! She's a great asset to Rubio's. Thank you very much Arianna, and thank you Rubio's!This is one reason we have been loyal customers since they have opened! Not to mention the tacos!?

I always have a nice experience at this location. Friendly service and management. They always take care of people who bring coupons.The meals are fresh. My favorite is the California bowl.If there is ever a mix up, they fix it right away. Give them a chance to make it right and all is good.Clean location, very calm environment.
I love Rubio’s Burrito’s. I ordered on this Rubio’s Website and received FREE Delivery Service from Door Dash. I ordered one CA USDA Steak Burrito with one side of Tortilla Chip’s, one Guacamole Dip, one mild Salsa, one large size Mexican Street Corn, one Honduran Gluten-free Chocolate Chip Brownie, and one Raspberry Iced Tea. My total bill was $22.24. Jose delivered my order on time. My food was delicious and it was prepared and cooked very fast. I received excellent customer service from Jose my Door Dash Delivery Driver. Everything I ate was very delicious and flavorful! I highly recommend this Vista location.

Fish tacos are great and taste fresh. I always get a couple fish tacos with chips, beans, and rice. The chips are very thick and aren’t like your standard Tortilla chips but are still pretty good. If you go you have to try their chipotle sauce it is delicious and not spicy. Great place just wish there where more of them. This one in particular I have been going to for many many years.
