Went there yesterday, Tuesday, August 16 at 5:30 and the place was closed. Nobody there. No sign. No nothing.
Fantastic food. Absolutely the best food I’ve ever eaten 2 visits in a row.Service is great, down to earth, kind normal people.10/10 would recommend to anyone
My husband and I popped in for our first time on Friday.I genuinely enjoyed it here - a hidden gem.I was looking for somewhere to go for some live music, food and drinks. They had a belly dancing show when we went which was really cool! They have a limited menu and a bit pricey, but the food was good and they had good drink options. After talking with one of the owners - it's an added bonus for this place to be family owned and operated. The whole atmosphere and decor was really a treat to see!
I have mixed feelings about this one. The food was pretty good. The service was a little iffy. The server who I think may be the owner or manager seem to have a hard time staying on track. We asked her questions on three different occasions and she started to answer and then started speaking to another patron. We belong to a passport dining club which gives us one meal for free and she told us that she's been trying to get off of that club but she would honor it. She seemed very cold from that point on. The people at the restaurant seem to all know each other like a little club and we did feel a little like we were intruding. To tell you the truth it felt a little weird. I believe the couple in the next table felt the same thing because they mumbled a little bit and got up and left.We wouldn't have known about the place if it hadn't been for our passport dining card. But our experience was lukewarm so I don't think we will return.
This place is a true hidden gem. The quality of the food is simply unbeatable at this price. The owner used to be one of the head chefs at a resort nearby. And they have live music. You HAVE go!
Amazing place! Live music and real-deal Cuban sandwiches. A real gem in downtown Vista.
An absolute gem. A true North County treasure- soooo thrilled to have stumbled in. Exceeded our (my husband & I ) expectations! Eclectic mix of everything from the patrons to the decor. Cozy & comfy inside. Presentation of the appetizer we ordered Hummus Board was not only gorgeous, but super savory. Definitely child friendly with games galore. Run by a husband & wife team: The Loves. They 100% support local artists & musicians & evidently have weekly jam sessions. Partake Gastropub was such a delight for us celebrating our 24th wedding anniversary. Although we had H2O they have a full WINE list & beer on tap. I forgot to ask if they do catering? They have board games & an abundance of GOOD VIBES!! Belly dancers - Music Jams - Interesting Guest Acts ♥️
Best food in Vista! The owners are incredibly welcoming, the rotating beer selection is always amazing, and it’s a great place to catch live music as well!
Great atmosphere food Cool venue
Came in with a large group. First thing i noticed was the decor, very homey feel and i absolutely loved the red door entrance. Was kinda bummed they didnt have cocktail but i understand fully. I personally had the steak which came with a mushroom risotto and a sauteed seasonal vegtable medley and the mrs had the potato and sausage gnocchi, both were phenomenal however in my eyes the true star of the night was the paseo fries. The tapatio aoili and the smoked gouda cheese sauce paired perfectly. A bit far for us but highly reccomended for anyone in the area.
