Today my boyfriend and I had the pleasure of eating at this wonderful deli. The costumer service went above and beyond. We were informed of all our options. The place was not only clean but very home feeling. We felt so comfortable and well taken care of. When we received our food they were huge proportion and at a good price. The best part is how delicious or food was. Hungry Bear Deli is definitely a place I would continue to eat at or even for pick up.
Great food, using high-quality ingredients, and staff who are kind and obviously care about the place. I've eaten here on and off for several years and the food and service have been on point every time.

Had the egg salad sandwich - it was delicious! Bread is fresh baked and sandwich is huge. The staff is so friendly (the music is great too.) Support this local business & fill your belly!

The chicken salad sandwich was the bomb! It had great taste, fresh ingredients, and a really soft roll.
I’m in Vista for a week and i was told how great Hungry Bear is. I went for lunch and ordered the Greek Chicken. It was literally the best I’ve ever had. Everything was so good, we went back for dinner and got the ultimate Italian and my wife got the chicken Cobb salad. Both were incredible. Mike, the owner created a great experience and I’ll be back every time I’m in town. Spend your money with local owned businesses like this one.
Caught my attention several times on Melrose and thought I would give it a try. I am so glad I did! I got something that sounded strange from a sandwich place but it turned out delicious. I got an omelette sandwich. Never heard of that before. But anyways it was delicious. I'm not sure exactly what they gave me because I ordered the steak and cheese omelette sandwich but it seems more like I got a western sandwich with bacon instead of ham. Nevertheless it was EGGcelent! The sandwich was bigger than my head. Very filling and will definitely be back.
