My uncle took me to this place for brunch. Connie is so personable, prices are reasonable, and the portions are massive. I tried the biscuits and gravy. Good for leftovers too. Customers get a couple of cookies. This is a must-go place for breakfast and brunch if you’re in or passing through the Oceanside, Vista or Carlsbad areas. I can’t wait to come back to try another menu item.

We're visiting from out of state and my daughter found Connie's on Google maps. Great find! The food was really good ( over 2 days, our party of 3 had omelets and French toast). They easily accommodated dairy free for my daughter. Connie's was so personable and fun! We really appreciated her place and are planning on breakfast there again before we head for home!

This place ... OoooooooMG.Connie is great. Connie's is wonderful. We just moved to California from Missouri and are working on moving in to our new home - so we don't have food yet. We stopped in on our first morning in Vista and was so impressed, we came back on day 2. I don't know if we'll make it back for a 3rd or 4th morning - but if I had my way - we would. The pancakes, sausage & eggs are great. The Apple Pie French Toast is a-ma-zing! Soooo Good!If you're new to Vista - check Connie's out and leave completely satisfied. *Thank You* Connie. We love your little place here and we will be back!

We've been going to Connie's Cafe almost since she opened about 7 years ago and still go regularly. Her prices are great compared to pretty much any establishment, whether it's a chain or small business. The food is great, she does a regular breakfast and lunch menu with special dinners to go once or twice a week. Connie herself is a fair and kind person who doesn't suffer idiots. She will tell you how it is, but she will bend over backwards for people. Also, there are a couple one star reviews from a few days ago and my husband and I were in the restaurant when they called. Anyone eating that day can attest to Connie trying to amend the situation, but who on earth would expect a free meal when the syrup, ranch, and utensils were forgotten?!? Not to mention if you're ordering from a delivery food service, how do you blame the restaurant for cold food? Connie asked what she could do to fix things, like a discount on their next meal or something actually reasonable, but these people only wanted free food. She did eventually hang up on them when they started threatening to leave bad reviews if she didn't comp the food, and we and about 8 other patrons couldn't believe she had been so patient with them as long as she had been. The reviews also complained about her saying that she was busy, but she actually was: the inside and her outside patio were completely full and mobile orders were consistently coming in.Internet reviews are very one sided and with no ability for other customers to respond or dislike things, it's super easy for awful people to leave exaggerated and fabricated complaints.

I want to thank you for the most delicious soup it was perfect ? especially on this rainy day...I enjoyed it so much coming back for more!

WONDERFUL! Connie's is a wonderful, cozy Cafe serving wonderful FRESH food. We had breakfast here and our plates were cleaned! Flavorful, but not over-powering delicious food with fast, friendly service! We felt like we were in Connie's actual kitchen! Well done!

Following a bike ride at a nearby by park, I found this spot on Google maps. Had good ratings, good pics.Awesome find! Service is impeccable. Elizabeth and Connie are so personable! The food was so yummy! I got the corned beef hash. Nice outdoor area in the back of the restaurant.

My husband and I have lived in Oceanside a long time. I googled diners near me and this was one of the ones that came up along with some big name ones. We have always been proponents of small businesses so thought we'd give it a try. All I can say is WOW! It's small inside with about 6 tables, a couple tables in front but they also have a nice back patio seating area. I ordered a BLT and salad. The bacon was perfect....nice a crispy, not flabby. The toasted sourdough was perfect. The lettuce for the salad was fresh romaine and cut nicely so you could actually get it in your mouth. The whole plate was made with care. My husband had the chef salad. His was on a large plate with the same nicely cut romaine with lots of good lean ham and lots of other goodies on top. We will definitely be going back. I saw some of the breakfast food coming out and all I can say is YUM. Good prices too.Thank you Connie.? I forgot to take the pictures before we started eating.

Finally tried her cafe. We walked down the street for breakfast. After reading the 5 star reviews we were anxious to try it. We both enjoyed the cinnamon French toast with apples on top, no need for syrup ? delicious. Bacon crispy, fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, toast all delicious. Large servings.Family owned, mom and son are chefs. A hidden gem in Vista. Small outside seating as well. We will be back for lunch soon.

Connie is a great entrepreneur. Her food is great, her son is great, and her personal touch is great. Oh yeah, the cookies are the best. We are extremely happy we found her. Looking forward to my dinner tonight.
