Horrible horrible service twice. First time, they closed an hour early just because on a Saturday night a week ago, and we had 4 hungry kids in the car... then the second time when we were in the drive thru everything we ordered the guy taking the order kept laughing and asking "is that all", "is that all". Then we felt so rushed Trying to order for our family of 6 we got nervous and had to settle on did we didn't want and paid $80!! Everytime we ordered something, the employee said he was out of it and laughed. Im extremely upset and if there wasn't a line behind us we would have just left. The worst service. I want my money and time back!
Ok the new bacon beast is the go back to the 6 dollar burgers days when Carl's junior was the top burger joint anywhere! I hope they keep the item. Very happy.
Haven't gone to it, BUT it's not open when it is advertised as being open until 11pm. Drove past at 10:02pm, menu lights turned off but lights inside are still on.
Asked for a guacamole bacon burger with no onions and was given onions and no guacamole. The fries were old and stale. I also asked for ranch and was given 10 packets of ketchup. I hate to complain but no part of my order was correct.
Look, it shouldn't be hard to not put cheese into a burger when the customer asks for no cheese. Its actually the easiest thing in the whole world to not do something. Doing anything at all is harder than doing nothing at all. So if you go out of your way to mess up an order by putting something in that was asked to be removed, you deserve 1 star
I lost my voice so I had to pull up to the window and give them a written order and they were so very kind! The guy at the window took the time to print out the order for me before charging me to make sure that everything was correct and even asked me simple yes or no questions so I wouldn't have to further hurt my voice. Very considerate and the food was really good.
Been here several times during my visits to the Vista/Oceanside area. Pretty consistent. Best choice for me is the chicken club. Tender and delicious. Tried their burgers but I'm not a fan of catsup on my burger nor cheese on it. Otherwise I would have ordered a cheeseburger. Especially like their fried zucchini too.
The clown (Mr. Box) down the road has let me down. Carl's has been consistent over many locations and over 40 years. I don't eat fast food often, but I've never been disappointed with these guys across their menu.
I got food poisoning from this location years ago, so I avoided it. All these years later I gave it another try and, again, got horrible food poisoning. I was vomiting literally for an entire day. In all the time in between, I never once got sick.
Twice now I have gotten horrible food poisoning after eating food from location. I have been sick, nauseous and vomiting for 10 hours now, and I literally never get ill.AVOID THIS LOCATION
