Edit: So, I decided to try Albertaco's again recently. The fact that they're open 24 hours helped influence this decision. I have to say, things have turned around.Orders are repeated for clarity, the food comes out at a great pace, and it is delicious. I mean I was worried it would never get back to how I remembered it years ago, but they're back! And they're super nice and friendly too.1 Star Review from last year below:Used to come here often. I will no longer be coming in for various reasons on multiple occasions:- ordered sour cream and guacamole in burrito, neither in burrito, still charged for extras- ordered a rolled taco combo plate, no rice, all beans, confirmed three times, received all rice no beans- ordered rolled tacos, asked to add sour cream along with the cheese and guacamole standard with order and confirmed multiple times saying,"I want cheese, guacamole and sour cream, yes all of it." I got sour cream only, no cheese, no guacamolewow nice place
Amazing food and friendly staff, I highly recommend this place if you are in the area. Large portions easy to share. I tried the Asada Fries and the Shrimp quesadilla
Two breakfast burritos and a meal combination 2 fish tacos $23. Burritos were big. Fish tacos are ok. I repeated my order to make sure they got it right. It’s good for what you paid for.
Super quick service. Open 24 hours a day. I've eaten here many times in the past few years and they have never messed up my order. Highly recommended.

Anytime I'm in the area, I must stop by Albertacos. For years I have enjoyed their Shrimp Burrito, hold the hot sauce! I've enjoyed the Chili Relleno burrito and Rolled Tacos. Quality and recipes always the same. Service is great.
Their “colorado” burrito is chicken not carne asada as their website says… They also pack it full of onions which their website doesn’t show.. I called and asked for a refund and the manager denied my request. Stay away from this dump.
This place has changed so much for the better, but it comes with some bad mojo. First off someone gave themselves a 23$ tip, tried to ask but it got so dramatic I decided to just drop it, and not give tips no more there. Second the food is very pricey, just 2 items can go up to 22$ so...yeah its really tasty from before so I guess it's OK? Location is rough, especially the homeless that hang about outside, service is good only twice they messed up my order but small price. Great food but bad area..

This place is GREAT! All the guys are very nice/friendly and are on top of it when it comes to preparing & making your food Fresh & Hot no matter the time of day or wether their drive-thru is car after car with orders or it's a call in, in store or DoorDash order, you can ALWAYS EXPECT YOUR FOOD TO BE ??DELICIOUS!?? (In my opinion.)This place always seems to have people inside eating or def in the drive-thru at all hours.They also have my FAVORITE CRUNCHY ICE!THEY ARE OPEN 24hrs! Like they advertise!Unlike all the other (so called) '24hr' Mexican Food places or fast-food places that claim to be open 24/7. Guess it's just more business for these guys!It seems to me since COVID, that all of the usual claim to fame, " late-night, open 24hrs fast food places people use to rely on are CLOSED after 2 or 3am anymore.I deliver with DoorDash & get a few to several delivery orders per shift for ALBERTACO'S, all over North County, San Diego area!! All hours of the night!I guess it pays off being Reliable, having GOOD Food & Good Customer Service!!!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐People love this place from all over the County!YOU CAN ALWAYS COUNT ON BEING ABLE TO GET FOOD 24/7!!I Promise u won't be disappointed!!
