RESERVATION NEEDED FOR HIBACHI GRILL!!! They didn't inform us of this until we were there. We were seated at the dining tables, which is a total different menu come to find out. Hibachi is not accessible to you at the dining tables. We paid for our drinks and left but we would have never even been seated if we would have known we couldn't get hibachi. We went there for hibachi grill food not deep fried veggies and sushi. Need to display on website that you serve different types of food at different seating areas and that a reservation is needed for the hibachi grill. Place is clean and pretty though. Won't be back for obvious reasons though
Website states they open at 1130am and the staff inside said they don't open til 12pm. Also our party of 5 sat next to a party of 6 and we order 4 full plates while the other party ordered 3. Our food got shared with the other party. We stated to the cook and the other gentleman also informed the cook some of there party wasn't going to eat. Once everything was done the cook put food on all 11 plates leaving my party with tiny amounts of food! I only got 4 cubes of meat and so did the rest of my party. The cook continued to put food on the other plates when it was stated they weren't eating. Never going back again!!!!!!! Paid and left hungry.
Its okay, nothing too special about the sishi, i hoped for better; if i go back might be to try the teppanyaki. The CA roll was disappointing and took forever to come out.
Service was great. The girls are on point. Our chef was inexperienced I believe. The rice was undercooked, meat and seafood was overcooked! The chef, even after verbally checking 2 times, served our party with the wrong dish. No cool tricks. Just a plain overcooked meal for $500! Will spend my hard earned $$$ wiser next time.
This place is fantastic. I went here with family members, and we ordered our meals. The chef was very talented and engaging, putting on quite a show. I got the scallop meal with fried rice, vegetables and extra mushrooms. The portions are huge. Everything was cooked to perfection. The spices, sauces and preparation made for a tasty lunch. The service was friendly. The fish pond outside the restaurant added to the charm of this location. I took my leftovers home to enjoy later. Highly recommended.
I am usually not the one rating Japanese restaurants as I only end up trying out the very few vegetarian options they have. Still many of them end up being pretty good and I have some in San Francisco that I love going to often as they make pretty good vegetarian appetizers and rolls.Tokyo Garden sounded promising like that but didn't turn out to be much good. Their are 2 or 3 vegetarian rolls in total and we asked if they could make some adjustment to the other ones to replace tofu instead of fish but that wasn't entertained. So anyways, we got few cold and hot tofu appetizers which were pretty good. However, the sushi rolls all had way too much rice, the veggie tempura was not great either too much breading. The overall experience was not great and definitely not interested in going back.
Food was great, and full of flavor. They were a bit busy but the service was still great. There is an awesome coy fish pond(not sure of the spelling, koy?) That my 2 year old loved. We were lucky enough to sit at a booth right next to the fish so my daughter watched them throughout our entire dinner. It was a fantastic family experience.
Food not only Tastes amazing but how it's cooked is amazing as well great for bdays or outing with friends and family. Cooks are talented and are super funny. Staff are great and make it a great experience!!
Food is delicious and fresh, exactly as described on the menu and even though it's a little pricey, you get what you pay for. Worth every penny.Staff is great and polite, pays attention to each table well. Certain seats get an excellent view of the koi fish and water garden. Overall great experience.
