I have to say that I'm extremely grateful to the Vintage Press and their gracious hostess. I made a reservation for this past Mother's Day Brunch for a time after church. We arrived and checked in with the hostess. It took her a moment to find the reservation. This morning, I got a text notification from their reservation system asking me to confirm my reservation for today (the Monday after Mother's Day). I checked back on my email confirmation and found that I had accidentally reserved a table for Monday, instead of Mother's Day. I'm so grateful that the hostess did not point that out to me in front of my family (esp. my mom). She saved me a world of embarrassment.

A wonderful restaurant with good old fashion style: the waiters were well mannered, professional polite and witty. The food was excellent ! We had shrimp cocktail, a salad and we split the 22oz Kansas City steak. We split a cheesecake : thank goodness we split the portions! I would highly recommend the restaurant. Everything was well done.

Excellent brunch experience overall. The cassoulet we were told is a new dish and it was and was solid; I might just remove the sausage, which was sweet for the dish. We also had the steak and eggs and the open-face omelet, which we enjoyed. The mushroom puff pastry grew on us and by the last bite we loved it. The bread and fruit tree was excellent. Ripe fruit and some of the breads were outstanding, the standout bring the cinnamon roll; the pistachio butter also was outstanding. The drinks and cocktails were all very good. The service was excellent. Our main critique is that we wish we had been given the option on resy to reserve an outside table. Being out of town we didn't know differently; some insight would have been really nice. But still we were impressed.

It was excellent food, wine and service! Loved it. Just a little expensive, it should really get 4 1/2 stars, going back for sure.

Our party of 14 were seated timely, never allowed to order drinks when we did catch waiter whom I think was hiding the drinks were wrong and some never delivered, We were never given the chance to order we had to yell what we wanted as waiter walked past us He poured water all over my hand. We were ask to order we just stopped waiter and gave order, our table was a mess with appetizers delivered one at a time after each was eaten causing our party to get cold food. Then to top it off we had to hunt down waiter to get check the food was ok but not worth what we went through terrible service, terrible visit to a high class establishment should worst eating place in Visalia

I ordered the pistachio crusted salmon , mushroom puff pastry , and the meatloaf . The meatloaf was under seasoned and everything was cooked perfectly tho. The presentation was perfect as well . The service was attentive and friendly . Francesca was my server . She’s amazing and so was the hostess . I live the ambience of the room for the bar !

I like the atmosphere, and the food is wonderful! Service was great!

The food was excellent, Service was very wonderful and friendly. We were from out of town and enjoyed everything, ambience service and food!

For our anniversary my fiance made us reservations to eat at the Vintage Press without a doubt best food and service I've ever had at a restaurant. From the freshly squeezes oranges in my orange juice and vodka. The gumbo was seriously full of flavor shrimp, lobster, smoked sausage. Seriously like they pulled it off the boat this morning lol. I got my chicken blacken and the flavors were out of the world. The twice cooked baked potato had ham and bacon bites in it. We didn't even want dessert but everything else was so amazing we got cheese cake togo and decided to try it in the car. Big mistake on our part because It didn't even make it home. Dustin was our server. Treated us great recommend so many amazing dishes told us his favorite food. We didn't feel rushed and got to enjoy our meal. We will definitely be returning!

A good steakhouse or higher end restaurant in Visalia. Plenty of parking and located in what I think is downtown Visalia.Plenty of menu choices and excellent service. Good portions and flavorful dishes.Great ambiance.
