Found my new go-to for Thai curry! Seriously the curry was so good. We didn't try the rice this time so the jury is still out there though. The pad Thai had great flavor even though it wasn't super fancy. The pho was a solid B-, good for when you want pho but nothing to write home about. Would be better if the fresh herbs were placed in the broth to steep while you drove it home. Overall it was a good experience, and I'll be going again!
Showed up to get brunch, the waitress was extremely nice and attentive but the owners kept yelling and fighting in the background. I ordered a PadThai and asked for it to be extra spicy (my mistake) I got a dish engulfed in chili peppers. It was so spicy, it made me sweat & cry. Only took 2 bites before I left. The waitress kept apologizing from the moment she brought my food, so I knew this was done purposely by the cook(owner).
Had to stop here to eat of course. Its clean and very welcoming staffs. Good thai food flavor.
Great food and service. I had the spring rolls and beef Pho. So good!
Green curry is great! So is pad Thai. The portions are generous. Tom yum soup is also very good. There are several dishes I'd like to try.
On Friday March 11, 2022, for lunch I went into the restaurant to order take out. We decided to eat at the restaurant instead. After I already ordered, I informed the girl we were going to eat at the restaurant instead. Another girl stepped in and told us we need to go sit down, and they will go to us to order. The first girl told her that I already paid. I need to sit down. It was obvious that I had limited physical movement due to medical device. I went to sit down at an empty table by the entry door. I was joined by my daughter and three year old grandson. The girl raised her voice at us from across the restaurant. We were told loudly we were not allowed to sit at the table because it was for four people. She proceeded to point at a table in front on the cashier for us to sit. It was so embarrassing that the few people that were there turned around and stared. No one else was told where to sit. We informed her it was okay, we will take the food to go. We sat at a chair with no table. A family came after us and was served and eating. Another woman ordered food for take out, sat down and received her food. Another gentleman came in and ordered. After approximately 40 minutes from the time I walked in the restaurant I walked up to the counter and asked for my order. She smiled and said "Oh I'm working on it now." We received our food and left. I ordered curry shrimp. I told the girl I didn't want it spicy at all. She stated don't worry it's not spicy at all, only by request. It was very spicy with four shrimps and alot of bamboo shoots. I ordered a side of rice because the curry doesn't come with rice. The rice was good. We will never go back. They way we were treated was very uncalled for. Her bad day should not be taken out on customers.
Great tasting food and very clean restaurant. Service was a bit lacking, but overall it was a good experience.
We've ordered takeout with zero complaints, food is prepared fresh and tastes great. However, dining-in is a completely different experience. Food and plating is fine. The staff is very kind and attentive. The issue was that our table was sticky and overall not very clean, we wiped it down ourselves. The seats were greasy and so was the high chair for our son. Floors were the same, which made you wonder how clean is the kitchen. They had the ceiling fans on with the front entrance door open, but it was hot inside and sticky and it made you feel swampy. I'll be sticking with takeout next time versus dining in.
Nice friendly and great food! I found my go to for thai!
Went here on a Tuesday evening during dinner time. The restaurant is located where Pho King used to be at. The place wasn't too packed.I was there with a group of 4 people. We ordered Spring Rolls as appetizers. The rolls were a very good size. Probably the biggest ones I've seen in Visalia restaurants. For our main course, we ordered Combination Pad Se Ew (Pan-Fried Noodles), Combination Paneng Curry, Combination Pad Kra Pow Gai (Stir-Fry) and Chicken Pad Kra Pow (Rice plate) Everything was delicious! Good size plates, full of flavor and everything came out quickly.Overall, the food was really delicious and our waitress was very nice and very attentive. The only reason I'm giving this place a 4 is ambience. They need to put some sort of background music to liven up the place a bit! Something minor that can be fixed. Otherwise, definitely come here for delicious Laotian/Thai food!
