DO NOT come to this establishment! I ordered my food at 12:23PM. After waiting over 35 minutes, I finally got the ONE sandwich I had ordered. There was only one other group in the lobby as well and was not packed at all. I should have read the other reviews before coming here, I won’t be making that mistake again. I think I could have gotten my food faster at a steak house restaurant.
Arrived at 7:35 PM on a Saturday evening (hours showed close at 8:00 PM) and I thought the place was closed. Lights off, chairs on the counters/tables and mats lifted from the floor. I really wanted a sandwich so I checked the door. Oh they are open. Walked in and the gentleman behind the counter was very friendly and when I placed the order for turkey sandwich he said oh sorry we’re all out of turkey. Hmm okay. Most popular commodity and you’re out of it on a weekend. The woman walking around cleaning up had the hardest RBF on. Like holy s*^# we are legit disturbing their routine. I got the creepiest and worst vibes. So of course I said no thanks and left. I wonder if the turkey miraculously arrived before they opened Sunday. If you hate your job that much and don’t wish to serve customers then go get a data entry job where you literally have no customers. This is the closest deli delicious to our house and it’ll be our absolute last visit. Keep it up like this and I’m sure this location will close down too.
Came here first when it had just opened and very surprised to see it still looks the same, empty walls, work in progress still? No fries still? The owner of the DD on walnut says this is corporate owned, so what gives? I love walnut location, this one is sad.
Placed an online order. Our delivery driver got there after 30 minutes and informed us that their fryer had to warm up first to make the fries that came with the meal. What were they doing for 30 minutes when they received the order? Have had nothing but bad service at this location in particular.
Update: The store contacted me and offered to re-make my order. This time the sandwiches were perfect!!It took 25 minutes to make 2 sandwiches and the bread was so tough on the outside it was nearly impossible to take a bite. I have not had this experience with other locations here in town.
I work nearby and decided to go there on my lunch. I had to wait out front for over 10 minutes and try to get their attention. I could hear them in the back talking but no one was coming. Safe to say I’ll go somewhere else on my lunch next time. This was around 6:30pm.
Placed an order at 12:05 for 7 sandwiches pickup time was for 12:30. My order wasn't finished until 12:55.
