My wife and I visit here several times a year. The food is outstanding and the staff is incredible! We love the atmosphere of the downstairs floor, busy, live music and the local characters. They always find a way to seat us whenever we show up even without reservations. You can’t go wrong with anything shrimp on the menu.
The food was average… we had tri-tip. Waitress was too distracted to wait properly on us. I was debating on having a drink. The waitress (Martha) asked,”Do you guys want to get drunk?” I said,”No.” She asked, “ Do you want to get smashed?” I said, No, the waitress the. Asked do you want to get a buzz? My replied again,”No.” she walked away. We ask another waitress for a cocktail menu and she promptly brought us one. Martha took my drink order…we placed our dinner order. It was served timely. Martha did stop by twice ask if we were okay. The. Socializing at the bar. Could not get her attention. When we got her attention she did not ask if we wanted desert, or anything else. Nice lady….just needs training.
Very happy to run across this place all the way from Ohio. Everything was perfect from the food to the service and atmosphere, wish we had something like this back home. The generous portion of Blackened catfish was fresh and delicious. The prawns were amazing. Just a 5 star experience all the way through. Thanks
Went there this past Saturday (3/12/2022) - We had reservations. We were seated and someone brought us water. It was over a half hour and we asked one of the passerby servers (Jennifer) if we can get at least a drink order in. She did do that and was working on trying to figure out who our server was. After our drinks were served - she said, "I have no idea, so I am serving you" so she was amazing. She took such wonderful care of us. She said she was new. We all thought (just in how she carried herself) that she was a manager. She is my favorite and she took the 2 star I had originally thought about and because of her, that made our visit a 5 star. The owner was playing his guitar and my boyfriend went to high school with him and it was very kind of him to say "Hi" from the stage. Everyone was having such a great time. It was a dance fest and so much fun. I like to people watch and just so much energy. I didn't get on the dance floor, mostly because it was so crowded and I had no comfort that everyone on the dancing or in the restaurant was 100% negative for C19. So, the party we were with (just the 4 of us, friends) - we had a great time. food was amazing and thank you for making it a wonderful evening Jennifer. We will be back. I hope you can serve us again.

As someone who has lived in Louisiana I can honestly say this place is horrible. Every entree that was ordered and appetizer was either flavorless or tasted bad. The alcohol wasn’t any better. Bloody Mary tasted like shrimp cocktail. When asked why we were leaving with full plates still I told the server that the food was gross. She replies back that she hates to see us go so soon. Yeah right! Never will make the mistake of returning. And will be sure to tell all my friends not to go here either.
I absolutely Love this place ! This place has a house band that is superb. Everyone sings and dances. The food is great. Emily is an excellent waitress and singer.
One of the fee restaurants that actually impresses me. Fantastic food at a reasonable price. Cajun food is hard to find, and they do it right! Waiters are friendly and deserve a good tip
