I've been going to Colimas since I was 10 years old. Still the best place to dine down town. Filete Relleno, the 7 Mares, and the Levanta Muertos are my go to choices. Over all great food. Its a bit pricey though but, for the quality of taste, time and service..So worth it hands down. Place is clean, restrooms are clean. I give this place a 10 out of 10.
The food was average. I was hoping to really like this place. We had tostadas de ceviche de camaron y de pescado. They were too salty. We had to mask it with hot sauce. We were on a date and didn't want to make a fuss so we tried our best to enjoy. The oysters we ordered were borderline bad, the smell was off, we got some sort of reaction to it but are not allergic to shell fish. Not sure but it was a bit off. We didnt finish them. The chips and salsa are spicy. I love a spicy salsa but expected a better salsa, flavorful not just heat. It was $48 for 2 ice teas, jarrito, two tostadas, half order osteones.
Carnitas were on point! Absolutely perfect. Rib eye was right up there with the best. This place always delivers!

The service here was not good. It took forever for anyone to take our order and the food was not good at all. Beans and rice were bland, the shrimp tasted burnt, and the sauces had little to no taste.The chairs were very uncomfortable and the atmosphere itself didn't feel like an actual restaurant, And the food was over priced.The tortillas were good and hot though.
Loved this place for years hands down the absolute best Chili Rellenos I've had to date. Some people don't care for it, but in my opinion the house sauce they put on them is what makes the dish. Also love the Chicken Special!!! Family friendly, great service, and a heavy handed bartender, not much else you could ask for. Give them a shot you won't be disappointed!
Hadn't been there since before Covid, my husband and I went for lunch, The service was awesome, for a busy lunch day and we were received and seated with hàrdly a wait . Our waiter came introduced himself and quicklý took our beverage order, and in less then 5 minutes or it seemeď he returned with drinks then took our order. I had an Al Pastor Taco Salad, and my husband a green burrito with Al Pastor also. We were surprised at how quickly our meal came considering the large volume in the restaurant All I will say was the food was delicious, Id never had Al pastor with a pineapple marinade, and was soo good. The service was awesome, looking forward ro go back soon. Staff iß warm and friendly.
