Im visiting from out of town. The pictures online about the place looked very pleasing. Its an old school diner, so we decided to give it a try. I ordered the eggs benedict with the home style fries, boy what a dissapointment. The eggs were way over cooked and the sauce was so thick and just way too much of it. The potatoes were so greasy and not to mention im pretty sure they dont change the oil often because my fries were covered in burned peices of food! overall deff never returning.
That was a VERY tasty burger, and my Negroni was quite good too. The aioli was fantastic too!
An unimpressive showing following my Mahogany experience the night before. Pick up breakfast served till a certain hour in the morning only to find it stopped 10 minutes early... Only this time staff response was rude and far from empathetic. Seems unfair but a well deserved one star if the staff cant be friendly at least like at Mahogany.
Went for a quick brunch..white wine was nice and avocado with shrimp was a bomb. Loved it
Excellent food and service. We are local and wanted a family meal & I wanted a cocktail with dinner, the kids fished at Plaza park so we went for an amazing meal at Cafe California. The salmon was delicious, my Margarita made to perfection and the decor was beautiful! We will be back soon.
Dinner was delicious ?
Great food, excellent service.
Another great experience at Cafe California. If you haven't gone in and given the shrimp avocado a try. You are missing out. It is a light delishous appetizer that can be a meal in itself.
Food sucked an menu choices were sorry avoid at all costs
Food far exceeded our expectations and was a great place to bring a tired seven year-old and baby. Was so handy not to have to get back in car after traveling all day! Our waiter Hector was great!
