Not the best burger in the world but WAY better than a fast food chain burger. Had the Recess Peanut Butter Cup Shake, that was delicious. Fries are cut and sliced pretty small and thin, I wasn't the biggest fan of that. I ordered the #1 Original Double Steak Cheeseburger. I should've ordered it without the tomatoes and lettuce to not overpower the burger flavor. Overall I will come back and recommend it to any burger lover in the area or driving by.. by the way, try out Freddy's across the freeway, it's a tasty alternative.
The food is pretty good, but the service is not good at all as it seems they are under staffed. It’s confusing as you walk in - you don’t know what to do because they have hand written notes at the greeter desk, but then they have a sign to order at the register. None of the workers greet you, or acknowledge you.The bathrooms are locked and the keys are on little chains attached to a stick, yet they just leave them out on the front table. So it’s an inconvenience to find the key, use the key, has germs on it from other bathroom users, and is just a weird inconvenience.Food is pretty good, worth waiting if they got faster, but there are lots of small inconveniences when eating here.
THE ONLY REAL STEAK N SHAKE OUTSIDE OF THE MIDWEST!!! I'm from chicago and grew up with occasional meals at steak n shake. I live in LA now and was always disappointed with the steak n shakes they opened over here. The food tasted different and the menu was sooo limited (no Frisco melt?? No chili Mac???) It wasn't until I stopped here on my way to Vegas that I found one that feels like it was literally teleported here from Illinois. Full menu, the shakes taste just as excellent as I remember, and the burgers are delicious flavor bombs like they should be. Talked with the manager a bit about how they have fought to keep this place as close to the real deal as possible. They even pay out of pocket to keep some items on the menu that corporate has removed from the menus of other locations!! If you're a fast food lover do yourself a favor and stop by, it's definitely worth it.
It is a nice burger restaurant! I have been at this restaurant in June of 2021. Of course, before visiting, I have ordered several meals from this establishment. It was during the lockdown of 2020. The meals were delicious. They were well prepared too. Furthermore, the prices were reasonable. At the same time, the meals were prepared in a timely manner. The staff, while I was visiting, was helpful and polite. While the place, during my visit, looked quite clean. In addition, there was ample of space, to sit down, and enjoy a meal. So, if anyone is in High Desert, and enjoys burgers, I would recommend to stop by this establishment, or order online. Definitely, I do not regret visiting this establishment. Of course, during this inflation, things might have changed!
They have pretty good food here. I'd recommend the butter garlic burger but the reason I didn't give it a 5 star is because of the wait. Look they have good food but if you're the only one in line your waiting easily 10 minutes, so you can't say it's not fresh, but if there's a long line I'd skip it.
Me and my kids love this place! The shakes are delicious and many varieties to choose from and the burgers are really good to! Their Cajon fries are good to! It is a bit pricey but well worth it!!
Went inside to dine in with my two kids and mom. Placed my order to eat in. Went and sat down. While looking around I noticed the lace isn't really clean. Vents were covered in dust, table edges were nasty. Food was taking awhile but I know they generally are very quick there. Bit after 30 mins and seeing people who can in after me getting there food before me. I got up to ask about our food. It was just sitting under a heat lamp in a bag. I touched the fried and they were cold. By this time my 2 yr old had enough of waiting. So I got a refund and left. Terrible service never going back again.
Refused me service at 940p. Yes i know they close at 10p. Car in front me got food. I was refused. Girl at window looked like she hates disabled veterans. Which i am, iraq combat vet from 2004. I had no choice today for late dinner. Havent eaten all day. This sucks. I feel like i am a horrible person going at 940p. No call from management. So shows they dont care. Hours are 10p. Not 940p. Noone has called me. Steak and shake hates us soldiers. I filed bbb complaint and county for not open during hours posted. They pick and choose who they serve. No call from manager on why they close before posted hours. I filed complaint with vv city on business. They must be open to hours posted.
It is a nice fast-food restaurant, located in Victorville. During the pandemic lockdown, I have ordered several times, so meals. In addition, I have visited this establishment, after lock-downs were lifted. The meals, from what I remember, were quite delicious. At the same time, they were well cooked. Definitely, it is not an expensive restaurant. In addition, there was ample of space to sit down, and enjoy a meal. So, if someone is in Victorville, I would recommend to stop by this establishment. The meals are worthy to visit!
First off it is not a restaurant any more. Get faster service at McDonald's. If I could give a 0 star I definitely would... Finally get our food 20 minutes after people in our party gets theirs(we ordered at the same time). Husband's burger was not cooked right, he took it back up and was told they would fix it. 30 minutes later they finally being it back out(everyone else has already finished eating) my sons hotdog was so rubbery that you could barely bite into it. My burger had nothing on it. No one seemed too concerned that they messed up. Didn't even get an apology. Called the store while sitting there and was told by their "manager" that that was the quickest they could replace the burger and she had no answer for the rest of the screw ups. Again no sorry. Best part about it all is we were the only people in the store up until the point that we got our food. Thank you for reading!
