I travel back-and-forth on the I15 regularly for business and pleasure, and I always stop at this Starbucks. It is consistently one of the most friendly, and helpful Starbucks crews that I encounter in my travels. Always ready with a smile and a greeting when you come through the door. And are happily willing to meet any special requests. I don’t know who’s managing this place, but they are clearly well trained and taken care of.
I would suggest them shutting down this location or getting a totally new team as soon as possible. Every time I come to this location because it’s convenient for me they have the worst attitude ever. You can’t even start a conversation because they keep it short and serious. It really does ruin the mood when you’re going there for a cup of coffee and in a good mood and you have their bad energy just rubbing off.
I stop by this location at least 2-3 times per week on my way through Victorville. It's in a great location, not too busy, and the drive-thru is nice. They often get the drinks incorrect, which was the only minor issue. For instance, you ask for light ice, they put extra creamer or sugar to fill it (instead of coffee). You get $5 drinks that are 80% sugary creamer and you cannot even taste, or see, coffee. Sometimes it’s so diluted that mixing in a non-ice, black coffee (Tall into a Venti) still doesn’t taste like coffee. This is far more worth forgiving than our customer service experience, however. Also, most of the staff is quite kind in the odd time we ask to correct our order. Usually, I just deal with it or add my own coffee at home.The problem with this location, that I don’t face anywhere else, is the customer service. It’s polar, it’s very hit or miss. Since this location has popped up, it’s about a 50/50 chance of getting someone decent or a complete nuisance (no matter how polite you are). Also, they must high turnover, because I rarely see the same folks serving. I usually just brush it off and move on with my day. However, my wife and I went in recently and had to deal with someone named “Carl.” I don’t know if that’s his nametag (sometimes they borrow others), but he was a very creepy guy and SO rude that it drove us to the point of not wanting to return.We were the only people inside the store, and there were 2 cars in the drive-thru, total. It was empty. He was outside of the counter chatting with the others, no big deal. When it came to help me, he was THE MOST ARROGANT person I had ever encountered. He was highly offensive and disrespectful on all counts. I work in mergers and acquisitions, so I’m well used to fake, arrogant people, but this guy topped the charts. I will save the details of the conversation. Needless to say, he was not only rude, he was 100% illogically and factually wrong in his attempt to correct our language and grammar as well. It’s very apparent that the idiocy that shined through this guy’s attempt at being pompous was, without doubt, the reasoning behind his rudeness, arrogance, and overall discontent towards others. As a result, we have decided to remove this stop from our future visits. We have also advised the employees of our company to avoid it as well. If management gets its act together and lets this person go, please do post it. We will return. I can safely wager that many others have been ill treated by this person as well. Please screen future employees better.
This location is always so slow. No matter what time of the day you go you’ll have a lengthy wait. They NEVER have their mobile order option on. And they never even apologize for the wait. This is the closest one to my home and I go out of my way to another because it’s quicker and the service is better. I’d give them zero stars if I could.
Just ordered a Venti Iced Nitro Cold Brew with 9 pumps of pistachio and they gave me a grande when corrected them they said no they didn't make that in a Venti size when I've ordered that before at the same location. On top of that it had no ice, it was hot & had no flavor, you would think it would've been sweet in a grande with 9 pumps of pistachio....
They are by far the friendliest staff. I get a cup every morning and sitand play video games for a for hours while my wife is at work and they are always so nice and friendly.
Super friendly staff. Drinks were hot even at night. Came here because another Starbucks nearby closed way early.
I just left there after ordering a caramel macchiato. This coffee tastes like unflavored water. I called their store and they don't answer. I called corporate and she refused to refund it because I didn't get a receipt. I told her she could check my debit card, but her suggestion was that I go back to the store and get a receipt. I just waited in a long line to get the coffee. I'm not going to be inconvenienced for a $5.25 receipt. My time is worth more than Starbuck's poor customer service! Moral of the story, DO NOT LEAVE STARBUCKS WITHOUT A RECEIPT, OR TASTING THE PRODUCT!
This is the second time in a row that I’ve tried to order in and it’s unavailable. If that’s how it is then put that on the site. It currently says dine in is available. I looked it up before hand to make sure I could sit in, that’s why I drove over there. It’s really just annoying tbh. It’s fine if people can’t go into the store and you are drive through only, but update it so people don’t waste their time please.
On January 22nd at 5pm waited in line for 40 minutes to find out they where close. All lights on for the drive thru. Everyone in line was waiting to order once the got the the menu. No one could tell they where closed. Unbelievable!!!! I tried calling this morning no answer to file a complaint…. I will be calling cooperate office Monday. WASTE OF EVERYONES TIME!!!!
