I have loved Shakey's Pizza Parlors for as long as I can remember! Grew up with them in the SF Valley. This one is newer and has a lot of nice games for the kids! The environment is very happy, and the decor is done in a wonderful "pizza parlor" style. They also have a great deal on a nice buffet since their food tends to be pricey, even before inflation! You just have to be aware of the times for the buffet and when they open and close, so as not to miss it.
Great atmosphere. Relaxing. TVs all around. The food was fresh and tasty. Customer service was excellent!
Have been here twice while in town doing business. 1st time was during buffet. Plenty to eat, everything came out hot. Everyone was super nice. Not crowded. We went on a Wednesday. 2nd time we got the usual. Shakeys special pan crust.
Bunch of lunch at Shakey's is a wonderful treat. The staff are amazing ?. They have a lot to choose from pizza, spaghetti, fried chicken, mash potatoes, corn, garlic bread, salad bar and don't forget the mojo potatoes. They got dessert pizza too if you're looking for something sweet. They have a little game room the will keep the kiddos entertained.
MY SON AND I WALKED IN HERE FOR LUNCH TODAY. THE PLACE WAS CLEAN NOT TO BUSY THE LADIES AT THE COUNTER WERE SUPER FRIENDLY. WE WERE GREETED AS WE WALKED IN. MY SON ORDERED THE PCM MED. COMBO PIZZA ?,CHICKEN, AND MOJOS. THE FLAVOR WAS GOOD EVERYTHING WAS FRESH. I ALSO GRABBED A SALAD AND A COLD MODELO.
First time there. It's pricey. Food is good though. $55 for two. Median pizza, mojo potatoes, side salad and pitcher of beer. Staff was nice and courteous, restroom needed service.
The pizza was delicious , the chicken was hot and juicy and the mojos were bomb. I really like the atmosphere everything was excellent EXCEPT ONE THING: IT'S FREAKING HOT UP IN THIS JOINT!!!! Seriously, turn the a/c on. I'm still giving 5 stars because the food and the vibe is good, but that a/c being on would bring in so much more business.
Not the same as it used to be. Over priced, hardly any cheese on my pizza even though I paid for extra cheese. Why do they have to ruin a good tried and true thing? Greed. I won't be going back....they can save money on cheese from all the pizzas I won't be buying from them.
Even though they messed up our orders on two separate visits, they fixed it and made it better by going above and beyond just replacing the incorrect orders. Excellent food. Great service.
I haven't been to this place in years but for some reason had a craving for those potatoes so I ordered a combo with chicken and potatoes which was outrageously priced and I got it to go which was a big mistake. It was so greasy that it was dripping and the food had such a horrible taste because the oil was old and burnt and that's all you could taste was rancid oil. I don't live anywhere near that location so by the time I came to the conclusion it was inedible it was too late to go back but basically unless you go for that lunch deal or they're turning over the food at a fast pace and you want pizza and salad don't do it you can get twice the amount of chicken from your local grocery store with their potato wedges which are going to taste way better and for sure be a lot fresher. Also the length of time I had to wait to get the gross food was completely not worth it the only reason there's a one is because it was at least warm when it was given to me. Not that it helped.
