No one works here. Tried multiple times to come here. Sign said open at 12pm and arrived at 1pm. No one was at the front and no one gave any acknowledgment that they would help us. Terrible wanted to give it a try but will never come back. Don't waste your time.
I have to agree with the Michelle who did the review about the customer service. I love the food and when the owner is there, he is great. You enjoy going there. But I dread going when the girl is there taking orders. She is so rude and unwelcoming. I dont know if its the mom and daughter, but they both have an attitude everytime I order. I keep telling myself this is the last time I'm going to eat there, but ugghhh sometimes it just makes it convenient for lunch since it's so close. Can't complain about the food. The food is amazing though. I just wish customer service would be more welcoming.
Great tasting food, very flavorable. Ample sized items. Fair prices. Friendly employees. Great variety of choices on the menu. Food is made to order not pre made drying under a light, so you wait a few extra minutes. It is worth it!
I'm torn. The food was amazing- the carne asada is like actual steak, marinated, for a long time.However, the customer service was not good. The girl that helped me at the drive through, was in a rush and short. I'm extremely polite. May I, please, and thank you so much; while ordering food. The girl was still rude. I get to the window, no hello, no how are you, she just says: "That'll be $____." I have her my card, she gives back hands me card- doesn't say anything. Comes back minutes later, and just hands me my food. She's rushing to close the window, and say, "Excuse me; what kind of salsa do you have?" She responds: "Mild, medium, hot." I ask for hot, she doesn't even bother to ask for hot many. Comes back gives me the salsa and says, "Here."There were no cars ahead of me, none behind me, and the gas station was dead. There was no reason why the customer service, shouldn't had been on point- especially, to someone that is extremely nice.I don't like to hold a company responsible, for having a bad apple, but it greatly diminishes the positive experience, a restaurant should have on it's customers. This was my first experience here and I hope; when I go back, I can give more stars and edit this review.
Arguably the best taco joint in the High Desert! You waiting a lil longer than most but you also get your food piping hot. Seems like everyone else these days wants to give you lukewarm food. Never an issue here at Papas Tacos. Tony is such an awesome person. A Caring and respectful owner!
This is the one of the best hole in the wall places you'll find in the high desert and it's the easiest to get too. They manage to get that home cooked taste with fast food.

Papa’s tacos is (in my opinion) hands down, the best taco spot in the HD. Their food is always fresh. Their recipes are authentic with a twist. They don’t skimp on portions, their burritos are massive and delicious. My family has been eating there since they opened and I’m impressed every time.
The Lobster tacos were absolutely delicious..going to go through their whole menu..
Food is great but they should offer an option to purchase extra hot sauce on doordash as they dont provide enough. You can enter a comment and request but they still wont give enough so an option to purchase extras would be great as people like my husband who love hot sauce need more.
