My wife and I really enjoyed this place. The waiters were really nice. Since we got there we received jasmine tea and appetizer. The wonton soup was really flavorful, the egg rolls were crispy. Then we got the orange chicken which was fanatic. I do think the chow main dish could have a little more flavor and the broccoli was a bit hard.We also got a sushi and it was the best I have tried in the high desert! Would come back just for the sushi! Over all I really like how we got a little of very thing and we would recommend.
Food was very good I rate this restaurant in the top 10! I ordered 3 items for 2 people, portions are great, quality was on par with other with other top 10 Chinese restaurants. Service was outstanding our server was very friendly and attentive.
My family and I got the crab wonton appetizers, almond chicken, walnut honey shrimp, chicken and egg fried rice. Overall good, not great however way too sweet for sauce on top of the shrimp.
Honestly this place used to be one of the best I ordered takeout received it at home thought it wasn't the same and it was a couple weeks later we went to dine in the restaurant We ordered six different plates and not one of them we're good The house of Joy beef I ordered I literally took one bite and had to throw the rest away it was that disgusting The beef broccoli was not very good The orange chicken was gross what was that sauce I never had orange chicken taste like that before Kung pao chicken it was okay I will never eat here again it's a shame I've been going to this restaurant for over 15 years never had the food taste as bad as it did this last couple times honestly I've had better food from Panda Express
When ever I crave some Japanese/Chinese food this place usually has both available, only thing is sushi bar closes sooner. Has variety to choose from. Price is within reason. Expect some dishes to have more flavor then others.
Amazing tasty food and good price.
One of my new favorite Chinese food here in the high desert, it looks outdated from the outside but if im honest i think its a look they r going for (never judge a book by its cover), the food is by far the best. Delicious ? theyre waiters are very friendly, we are now regulars
My husband and I had a wonderful date night here at the House of Joy. We had walnut shrimp, pork fried rice, egg foo young. Lots of food. Service was efficient.
Wings we very good, the flavoring was perfect
the food is good. the decor lacks attention. needs an update badly.
