Don't know if we were spoiled by Orang County seafood/order by a pound places but this restaurant was a let down. We checked this place out based on the good reviews on Google when we did a little trip to Ventura/Oxnard. Ordered the fried calamari, cajun fries, 2 lbs of crawfish (garlic butter and special sauce), claim chowder, cajun pasta, and garlic noodles. All of them were really salty. The fried calamari was super dried and it's like over burnt popcorns. The crawfish was small and you can clearly see it's frozen. The only good thing was the cajun fries but they can't save the day for us. The prices were a little cheaper than other similar restaurants in OC.
Meh. The service wasn't so great, we were told we could sit anywhere but then we're told we couldn't sit at the 6 top table because they didnt want to clean it, logic doesn't make sense. I ordered the tilapia n chips which was fine, but my mom ordered the shrimp n chips which didn't seem fresh at all, had a funny taste to it as if the poor service didnt already leave a bad taste in my mouth, they were also so tiny, not worth visiting, go to Andrea's by the harbor instead, it's so much better than this place.
I brought my brother from out of town, and we were both blown away by how awesome it was. Will definitely be returning, and recommend to anyone who will listen!

The cream de la creme for Thai iced tea with (surprise!) free refill if you ask. Not the best seafood and the very worst Galveston Bay oysters that were flat, lifeless, and should not be an option. Cute place, great servers, but the menu needs to be expanded or tweaked to give a reason to come back.
Not gonnna lie the crab is alright. Seasoning is weird the Cajun drawing isn’t real Cajun seasoning, the Cajun fries are good, the shrimp is trash because it’s not fresh and it has a weird texture. How we live by the ocean and can’t get fresh shrimp? If you want actual Cajun seasoned crab go to Cajun country cafe. Personally I wouldn’t eat here again unless I was invited to have lunch with the president and it was mandatory even then I would only get a soda and the Cajun fries
