Our first visit was on April and were hoping to be a cold day as the zoo is by the beach. However, the weather favored us and we had a great time. Our 2 year old niece loved every section of the zoo specially the penguins. Agree with everyone here- it is bigger and better than Oakland zoo. Also you can park on the streets but be careful while crossing the busy street.
