Place is awesome!!! Got a shrimp burrito for for me and corn burritos. Wife got the taco platter . All really ,really good !!! Little pricy but worth it !!!! Highly recommend it . Beats Maggie's and the other Mexican food on the avenue!!!

I love their handmade Tortillas on the street tacos. They are so soft. Their red salsa is spicy but not too spicy. Their green salsa adds a good flavor and it isn't spicy at all. Overall great customer service.

One of the most authentic tasting Mexican restaurants I’ve had!!! My dish was costillas en Chile verde. The sauce was flavorful with a hint of lemon. Couldn’t stop eating. The tortillas are hand made. The meat was tender and tasted very fresh. My friend ordered carnitas plate. He said it was the best carnitas he’s ever tasted. Juicy and tender. The beans and rice tasted like my grandmother’s, home cooked and pure deliciousness. So happy to have found this mom and pop’s restaurant!!The ladies working inside were very warm, courteous and welcoming too. A + food and service. Thank you!

MacReeves and I had tacos: pastor, carnitas, asada, and birria. While all seemed well prepared none of the meats stood out as particularly exemplary. They lacked seasoning perhaps? Something was missing flavor wise and the two salsas didn’t add much to enliven the blandness.Service is pleasant, prices fair, outdoor tables plentiful. That being said, I would probably stick with Tacos La Bonita across the street (an evening taco truck) if you seek deeper flavor and a vastly superior salsa and condiment bar.

Fish tacos and guacamole were delicious. One of my favorite places for fish tacos. Plenty of nice tables outside surrounded by potted plants to screen the road.

This place always has the friendliest staff !! The best food in town and super cute place to come and eat on a date or just come with family!! My favorite place to eat in ventura ((: thank you to the amazing staff for running this amazing restaurant!

Found this on Google maps. Got the shrimp burrito and the asada fries. Both were amazing!!

My favorite place to get a burrito. They have more meat choices than a lot of more generic Mexican food places. They also have various flavors of horchata, which of course is always a must. The prices and wait times are pretty much on par with any other restaurant. From my experience, it is a great place to eat at or just pick up food from, with a nice outside eating area, and helpful employees. I highly recommend giving Taqueria Ventura Doña Raquel a try if you haven’t yet.

Pancakes are really good... I had the breakfast and it's better than IHOP.. great prices. Outdoor type of sitting area to eat.. but still very nice and quaint.

Some of the poor reviews had me a little wary, but honestly my experience was nothing but good. I got our order in a very timely manner, everything was correct, the cashier was helpful, and we enjoyed the food (especially the gorditas and fresh tortillas). We live in the area, and will be coming back again!
