The service was amazing and quick, and the food was incredible!We ordered the pantry cheese platter for two, and got way more than expected. The bread was fluffy, the olives tasted every bit gourmet, I loved the assorted dried cranberries + raisins + apricots, and the toasted almonds were actually the best I’ve ever had (I would order the platter again JUST for those almonds)! The cheeses were well-selected and delicious, and there wasn’t a single one I didn’t like.I also loved that they had so many different fun and elegant non-alcoholic drinks like the lavender lemonade and rose lemon soda. I am not a drinker, so I always appreciate a unique or nicer drink without the alcoholic!This is definitely one of my top favorite spots in Ventura, and I can’t wait to go back again and try more soon.
The best grill Cheeez sandwich ever!!!! I have had it twice now and it's the best....great atmosphere and service...we are full this time but will try the desserts at some point!
I first visited Paradise pantry shortly after it opened. The line to get in was very long, and there was an uncomfortable wait crowded around all the other people trying to get a table. Fast-forward a couple of years and I had lunch there two times within the last month. I first lunch was so good, I had to return with another friend to introduce her to the turkey pesto sandwich! On both occasions, I ate outside in the post-Covid space where tables are now placed on what used to be the sidewalk and street. My one lunch companion raved about the pastrami sandwich. He ordered it with a bag of chips. This is a very casual place, great for a quick business lunch or a break in shopping or just to meet up with a couple of friends. The inside of the restaurant is rather tightly spaced. The turkey used in the sandwiches was extremely tasty and tender. The fresh brewed ice tea was also excellent, but a bit pricey for ice tea with no refills. Maybe something to talk to the ownership about.It is interesting that there is no chicken on the menu. Service was prompt and courteous. I will return here over and over again – even if just for the turkey sandwich.
We had two amazing brunches in one of the best restaurants I've ever been in United States.It's European style, it's vibrant, the food is delicious! Our servers Mia and Jennifer were so kind, friendly and professional.We also met Cynthia Katherine and she is a compassionate and beautiful soul talked about my home country Ukraine with her and she gave me a hug Love you all, it's just a true place to be, feeds the body and soul. Thank you ??
Nice presentation of food and dessert. mac and cheese was crispy top, good chewy macaroni, truffle was strong enough and cheese was rich strong.Cream brulee was crispy sweet on top but somewhat too cold cream. Vanila beans were very tasteful. Pretty presentation is plus.Only wish is the service to be a little better.
on the western end of main street, stopping by paradise pantry provided a very welcome retreat where details matter and high quality raw materials are put to use. we enjoyed a delicious egg-heavy breakfast with savoury finishing touches of fresh herbs and caramelized onions. dining was outside, leisurely-paced thanks to friendly and attentive service. we bought cheese and wine inside the shop afterwards and would most certainly return to the pantry on the next visit to ventura.
Was expecting much better food for these prices. Got a full sized Ono melt, which was kind of bland and had a too thick layer of a very mild tasting cheese. Also got a cup of some lobster and something bisque, which tasted like a vegetable soup and not a single bit of lobster. Soup wasn't bad but lack of lobster was disappointing. Service was very good though.
We all loved Paradise Pantry , the food, the presentation, and the service were all fantastic The attached gourmet wine and cheese store is not to be missed. This place is a real gem in Ventura Ca.
I love this place! Everything is delicious, every time. They clearly care. There is large outdoor seating with a perfect view of the Mission!
Paradise Pantry hosted our Resource Real Estate office luncheon and it was a delightful experience! Wonderful food and presentation, and they took great care of us!
