The food was really really bad The views were amazing Service was okay
Food was good however, my seared Ahi had so many ligaments running thru it I couldnât eat it. More connective tissue than fish. When I informed the waitress she seemed to not have a care, as if it wasnât hers so why should she care? I wasnât offered a new one just here response âoh Iâm sorryââ¦and she walked away. $350 for just 3 of us - It would have been great to eat my dish. I live in Cardiff. Service has been hit or miss. I may not refer or return. Itâs too bad.
Pacific Coast Grill is outstanding - thoroughly enjoy the food, location & ambiance. One of my favorite restaurants!
The dining experience was fine, however, we got notified by email that we didnât show up for dinner which is not true. We were seated upstairs at 4:30 and left at 6:20. The bill was approximately $175 and $100 was paid by gift card. Reservation was under Joe De Maria. Any questions call me at 760-214-7705 Joe De Maria
Although the plates were hot the food was cold. We still had a wonderful evening.
Food and drinks were both delicious. Had a perfect table outside so we could look at the beach. Our waiter, Peter, was great. Overall great time!
We drive all the way from Coronado to eat at this restaurant. Itâs probably the best restaurant on the West Coast or if not San Diego County. The food, ambience, presentation and service is all exceptional. Usually we have the Seabass, but this time we tried something different. My wife had the mahi-mahi tacos, which she raved about, and I had the fillet mignon sliders. All of the food was great, and the portions were perfect for us who are seniors. Finally I want to mention the cocktails. I had a vodka martini which was near perfect, and my wife had an old fashion with bullet. Make sure to make a reservation on open table because you can become crowded and you donât want to wait in line to be called.
The Moonlight roll is outstanding. At $25 it seems like a big price, but the roll itself is huge and a meal in itself.
Ordered seared sea bass - it was cooked through, not seared. 2 orders of seafood paella - lobster was over cooked. Otherwise meals were tasty. We didnât send back because they told us the kitchen was closed and by the time we were sat we were so hungry we didnât care. Staff was unfriendly to put it mildly. Between 3 hostesses, one waiter and 2 food runners, not a smile much less any friendly banter. We were there for our 34th anniversary and said so in reservation (and upon arrival) but not a mention at table service. We appreciated the gluten free menu, which is why we went there, but wouldnât return due to extremely poor service by all staff encountered. Too bad because the beachside location is prime!
Beautiful dinner on the patio. Sea bass was exceptional!
