Somehow I've been passing by this amazing little place and not stopping. I finally decided to try it and I absolutely loved the food. They did this Christmas on July thing that was a fun departure from the ordinary. I would absolutely recommend this place, amazing food, creative cocktails. It's a must for anyone wanting a departure from the typical menu's
Awesome food. I had the Salmon and my friend had the hanger steak. So much flavor. Its a rather quiet place. But very elegant and everyone was welcoming. Its definitely a dinner you would want to try
This place makes a living from charging for expensive ingredients that you cannot taste. In general all the dishes we tried lacked taste, except for the half-head of garlic we got served with a side of bread. Yes, they served a half-head garlic as an appetizer and that wasn't the worst dish.The Wasabi short ribs were served with a side of the blandest unsalted dryest mash potatoes, the rib itself was a dry flavorless piece of meat and no Wasabi could be tasted at all. The kalua pork was atleast salted but once again very bland. The gnocchi sounded interesting but was badly paired with the pork. All the dishes would have be 10X times better if they were seasoned properly but they would still be subpar dishes. The menu overall is uninspiring and with 5 overall entrées you would expect nothing less than perfection.
What a fantastic meal with fantastic friends. Each dish (and DRINK) was a combination of amazing and fresh flavors. This place is a gem and we didn’t even know it. Delicious X10.

My wife and I held our wedding reception at Pacific by NoRu, and we cannot say enough about how much we (and all of our guests) enjoyed our experience.Because of all the craziness during COVID, we had to make last-minute changes to our reception plans, and despite not having the opportunity to sample the food beforehand, we still decided to book the restaurant. But, given the fact that we’d be having a fusion menu, we weren’t quite sure what to expect. However, once the day arrived, any uncertainties we had were quickly put to rest.The food was absolutely superb, and James all of the staff were incredibly friendly, gracious, and accommodating. A number of our guests commented to us, even months later, about how much they enjoyed themselves. It was a beautiful, memorable, stress-free, A+ experience that left us all feeling grateful and satisfied.We returned to to the restaurant 6 months later to celebrate Valentine’s Day and our half-year wedding anniversary, and everything was just as delicious the second time around.We continue to recommend Pacific by NoRu to all of our friends, and we recommend the same to anyone living or visiting near Ventura.
Each time I come here it just keeps getting better and better! I am so thrilled Ventura finally has an upscale high quality dining spot like this. Pacific by Noru is my go to spot for dinner & drinks in Ventura and everyone I have brought here has been completely blown away by it. The food is incredible and packed with local flavors and freshness. It is always cooked, portioned, and presented to perfection! From the moment you walk up to the hostess stand, the staff here makes you feel genuinely welcomed.Now for the cocktails. Last night I had the pleasure of meeting the incredible bartender, De Lonne. I wish I could give this review 6 stars because he truly deserves his own special star. I love a good cocktail and have always been blown away by the drinks here but the minute I met De Lonne I finally understood why the cocktails are so special. His energy radiates his love and passion for making the special cocktails here and you can taste it in every sip. He even made me a special cocktail for my second drink based on the flavors I had in my first drink and he knocked it out of the park. He is so friendly and personable, and is a true gem.Thank you Pacific by Noru for finally being the spot Ventura has been needing for quite some time now! I can't wait to come back again and experience all the great things you continue to do!

The pot stickers were excellent. The salmon entree and ribs was descent. Service was horrible!!! We were the only ones out on patio. We pretty much got ignored and forgotten about. The restaurant wasn't even busy. We ordered dessert and it took forever. Mentioned poor service to the staff person. They totally ignored us. Our waitress disappeared on us. I could see she was spending lots of time chatting with customers inside. Another male staff was on the phone the entire time. All the visual staff was pretty much standing around doing nothing. We couldn't even get them to come get out credit card to pay check so we paid cash and left. Very dissappoiting!! Owner said they DM me but they did not!!!
Pot stickers were excellent. The rest of meal was descent. However, the service is horrible. We were the only ones on the patio. They were not busy. We got totally ignored and forgotten about. Dessert took forever. Mentioned it to staff. They completely disregarded it. Waitress was busy chatting with inside customers. Other wait staff were standing around or on phone. Waited to pay check with credit card. We got tired of being ignored so paid with cash and left. Absolutely disappointing!!!
