I’m not a huge fan of the chili but the food was hot and the service was good. That’s pretty rare these days.

Not a bad burger but get the chili sauce on the side if you just need a burger. Little to much with chili sauce. Staff and service were great
MY SON TOOK ME TO THE ORIGINAL TOMMY'S HAMBURGER NEXT TO SALZERS RECORD SHOP ON VICTORIA AVENUE IN VENTURA CALIFORNIA. SORRY TO SAY THAT WAS BY FAR THE WORST DOUBLE CHILI CHEESE BURGER AND CHILI CHEESE HOT DOG I HAVE EVER HAD ANYWHERE. THE MEAT WAS TASTELESS AND THE CHILI SAUCE THEY PUT ON THE DOUBLE CHEESE BURGER AND CHILI DOG WAS MORE OF A PASTE LIKE SUBSTANCE, IT WAS EXCESSIVELY GREASY AND TASTELESS. YEARS AGO TOMMY'S BURGERS WERE GREAT. SOMEHOW THEY LOST THAT GREAT TASTE THEY ONCE HAD. I HAVE NO INTENTIONS OF GOING BACK.
Service was slow so I passed. The place was pretty empty except for a few elderly folks who took a long time to order. I'm sure the foods good tho. Nice stop for nostalgia and a trip to salzers records.
Great food and the cook was friendly but the girls at the front end need some happy pills.
Sometimes you just have to have a Tommy's chili cheese burger. I used to work downtown LA and would pickup, breakfast chili sausage and egg sandwiches for the crew.
