I feel bad for posting a negative review because I am a big fan of this place. As I live less than a block away it is a go to lunch place for me. The last couple of times here I notice that the “protein” portions have waned significantly. I always have the lamb/beef gyro bowl. Today it literally was all lettuce, greens, sauce, and rice. There was probably about 2 oz of protein. Pretty disappointed. Not sure if it was just the staff today? The order came out really quick…almost like it was already sitting back there before I order. Anyway perhaps next time I will as the counter staff to make sure I get some actual protein with my bowl.
A year later, we dropped by around 1pm and asked if they have frozen yogurt but was told that they're out. We walked around for a bit and decided to circle back for lunch. We ordered the gyro bowl and chicken souvlaski plate. They tasted much better this time, the gyro, chicken, fries and pita were very good and we enjoyed the meal very much, although the rice was very greasy - the bottom of my entire bowl was drenched in grease.After our meal, we hang out outside to enjoy live music and suddenly noticed a couple walking out with frozen yogurt! Confirmed with them and they have the frozen yogurt again so we went back in and got one for each of us. They were out of honey so we asked for baklava. Frozen yogurt was a real treat but thought it was way overpriced considering the amount of frozen yogurt we got and just shavings of baklava which cost $1 extra......Ordered through Uber eats, got the gyro bowl, it was just OK, gyro was a bit on the dry side, wished there were more salad, the dressing was too lemony for my taste. Price wise definitely on the high end but understand due to location
Loved this place! The cashier was super friendly. Had a great meal with the whole family. All the food was delicious. Wish I knew the cashiers name he was so nice and welcoming. Will come here again 100%!!!This place has been here 2 years!!! I had no idea! What a great new place.! Lamb gyro and hummus was amazing. Stole a bite from my kids, kids meal chicken was so good!!!
Normally great food and good service. Today as of 6/17/22 @ lunch the guy in the back cooking couldn't negotiate his way around the kitchen or the orders. This caused the front counter girl to have to keep stopping to explain to him in Spanish. Meanwhile the line was getting longer and longer. Food came out wrong after a lengthy wait for a to go order sent it back asked "what was this?" Missing half the items on it. It comes back again still yet wrong. Didn't have time to keep dealing with it so left. Food was not great today.EIf their person in the kitchen worked in one of my kitchens even if it were his first day it would had been his last.Fix the problem so you don't lose customers not paying the price for wrong food and bad quality.

Delicious!!! Would definitely get Nick's food again. The falafel was great and we loved the Greek fries. Baklava was not the best I've had but it was passable and I'm probably a bit particular.
Great hole in the wall spot right off downtown. When we need a gyro fix this is the spot. Their meat bowls with rice and salad base hit the spot and don’t break the bank. They also have traditional dessert as well.
Great hole in the wall! Definitely try the Nick’s fries! An order of fries is sufficient serving size for 2!Staff was super calm and friendly, very accommodating of any order modification requests.
Foods great. I’ve been in a few times and although I walk in with a smile to pickup my online order that’s already paid for, I never get greeted and am standing there awkwardly until they decide to be done sweeping or whatever they are doing. I respect that you are working and busy, just a hello be right with you would feel much better:) only saying something because it’s happened on multiple occasions
Oh boy! Great food for the price. I can only speak for what I ordered, the Pork Belly Gyro. It was exceptionally good. Tender pork with a slight flavor of bacon from the fat. Good job
