My favorite ice cream place! It’s small and cozy. They have diverse flavors to provide and you can taste them! It’s right by the mall too! My favorite flavor is cookies and cream & cookie dough.
Incredible ice cream spot. The ice cream is gourmet and hand crafted. Originally from Santa Barbara, I am so glad they opened up this tiny spot in Ventura.Do yourself a favor and get literally anything they sell here. It's all amazing.
I've lived in VC for 25 yrs and never been to McConnell's. Had plenty from the grocery store but this is the first time I actually visited the quaint store down near 5 points. They have the best ice cream. So fresh and interested flavors.. I had the earl grey tea and gingerbread mixed with the lemon and marionberry. Divine..Just do it.
Amazing ice cream with some really good flavors like “honey and cornbread”…I would recommend stopping by if you are in Ventura
Great ice cream but the shop can benefit from displaying available flavors on a large board that’s easily seen for those waiting in line. Should also make signs of where to order because it does get crowded in there with no direction so it gets very hectic in who orders next and where the line starts!
Very delicious ice cream at a reasonable cost. Great for family ger together on a warm day. Outdoor seating is a plus.

Excellent, one of a kind ice cream. We moved here 5 years ago and still adore this ice cream shop. I've only ever been able to get 1 flavor because I love it so much. Thankfully my family is more adventurous so I taste whatever they choose as well. All the flavors have been top notch.
Amazing ice cream (dairy). Unfortunately I don’t do as well with dairy and the non-dairy soy based aren’t great. I wish they used coconut cream and some of the flavors taste fake vs the real ingredients such as watermelon. It would be great if they can work on there non diary offerings.
