Local. 1st timer. Hole in the wall wonderful! Delicious flavorful dinner with the view of palm trees. Small spot = Try food to go and head 1/2 block to the beach - take a chair and enjoy the view. Parking is cramped but this Pierpont, it’s expected. May run into some beach homeless who may or may not be on something but there are police around also. Love the ambiance of Ventura beach restaurants! Cheers!

10/10 amazing! I will definitely be back. Perfect location steps away from the beach! I got the pad see ew with beef, the crispy shrimp wontons and the chicken drunken noodle everything was amazing I can’t wait to come back!!
I’m a Democrat. I wear a Black Lives Matter hat everyday, all day long. I have ordered several times from them. Their food is great.However, I will never buy from them again. I’m staying at motel 6 4 blocks from them. The person who answers the phone barely understood what I said.I’m from Iowa and work hard to make sure people are treated well, including legally backing a friend.That said. I’m tired of people who answer and can’t understand basic shot.Done. Join THIS COUNTRY. I would like to be your customer. But, I’m tired of that attitude and the owner of that kind of system.
We came here based on the reviews. The vegetarian tom yum soup $13 looked great but was so sour and spicy hot that the 3 of us could not eat it. We told the waitress who apologized and said she would give us the mango sticky rice for free $12 value. When the bill arrived, it still had the soup on it but not the sticky rice. So I signed the credit card slip and went to the restroom which had no paper towels. The waitress came to pick up the bill while I was gone and told my kids we have to pay for the soup we couldn't eat and the restaurant was not giving us the mango sticky rice as promised. If I had known earlier I would not have given them a tip. I hope they can improve their customer service and food quality. This is our first time and last time we will eat here.
We had take out orders (pineapples fried rice, Pad Thai noodles, seafood fried rice) all very good. Solid ingredients, well cooked. The staff was extremely courteous. Very satisfying experience.
My wife and I came by for lunch and really enjoyed it until we noticed a piece of thinly sliced totally raw chicken on the plate. I ordered the garlic ginger lunch special and in the salad was a piece of uncooked chicken. I showed this to the server and she said sorry and took 15% of that meal. Sure hope I don’t get sick. Unacceptable.
The food here is amazing and the people that run the place are always so kind. I have a few go-to restaurants on my list, and this is the only one where the food has always been good, no matter what. If I could give 10 stars, I would. Best Thai food in the entire county!
While the food is not bad, be sure to check order before leaving if your picking up your order. I ordered spring rolls and paid extra for crab, there was no crab. I ordered jasmine rice with my meal, there was no rice. The parking or should I say lack of parking makes if difficult to go back and get what you actually paid for. Needless to say I will not order from Lucky Thai Cuisine in the future.
Super savory fried rice and sticky rice is cooked to perfection. Fresh ginger tea is perfect for weather and digestion. Service on point as usual.
