Great neighborhood pizzeria with terrific local beers on tap. We had read on their website that they have Happy Hour on Sunday (when MacReeves and I were in town) but in person were told by the very pleasant server that HH is only Tues-Sat in fact.We enjoyed some tasty brews (the mango one being my fave), good house-made meatballs and garlic knots.Atmosphere was very relaxed on a Sunday evening. Lots of folks enjoying fabulous looking pizzas. We look forward to returning for HH or anytime we want tasty food and drinks on Main St.
So I Recently moved to the area and was looking for a terrific pizzeria. We tried a few with mixed results before trying Jimmy’s. And after 3 different orders I have to say it’s absolutely awesome! The pizza is the perfect New York style, and the cheese and sauce are very high quality. The toppings are fresh and the homemade meatballs are spectacular.I’ve also had the calzone (meatball/mushroom) and it’s hands down the best I’ve tried. No more looking around for us. We have found our new pizzeria.

Jimmy's Slice is probably the best snack during an evening in downtown Ventura. Customers can get pizza by the slice, which is amazing if you don't like having leftovers to haul around. The pizza itself seems to be New York style. A Jimmy's Slice pie is flat and soft enough to fold, for those who don't know what "New York style" means.Anyway, this is a really cool spot. Check it out.
The pizza is really good here. Customers can buy individual slices of pizza, so I never have to get stuck with leftovers.
