We were seated quickly, but we waited 17 minutes to have someone take our order. I got the garden burger with fries. Bun was stale and fell apart, garden burger was very mushy with no flavor. Steak fries were mushy too. My husband got the teriyaki chicken sandwich. No flavor. We got there just as breakfast was ending and there were lots of people eating, so perhaps breakfast is better.

Great comfort foods available. Try hot turkey sandwich, open faced with gravy, mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce or liver with onions, bacon and apples. Yum

Good food. Seems like it has changed. Prices were higher than before. Home potatoes were burned so that didn't impress me. Great service though.

Hill Street Cafe not my typical breakfast place that I would go to (I don't spend that much time in North Beach/Fisherman's Wharf), but it has a west coast American breakfast feel to it (not to be confused with those New Jersey/New York diners). I came here with four of my relatives (who are not from the US) to show them a more traditional American breakfast.

If you decide on coming here on a weekend morning expect to wait for your food to be delivered to your table. The breakfast is standard fare but really good and flavored just right.

Great food and even better atmosphere! Super-friendly staff!!

Nice mourning or lunch spit. Good food.

We came here about two years ago and were not impressed, wait was horrible and food just okay. Here we are right now sitting in a booth to give it a second chance. Same issue. Wait was long and food not great, waitresses chatting as I'm trying to get a coffee. No third chances we are done. Don't waste your time or money.

Literally everything here - especially their Abondigus soup! From the chicken strips to their pastas - I don't think that anyone could be disappointed!

A very good restaurant. Very pleased with the service very accommodating
