I drove by this place and thought it was a sushi bar. But to my surprise skewers and more. It fantastic flavors on everything I ordered. I will be coming back when I’m in town or making a special stop when driving by! Great job everyone ??
First time trying out Gotetsu. First off you download the menu to your phone which is fine but, then they want you to order through your phone like it is take out. This system does not work for me. I want service when I go out for dinner. If I wanted to order online I would get take out. Never tried any food just left. To bad because I heard the food was good but there system is terrible.
This is one of my favorite restaurants in Ventura. There are so few options for yakitori in the whole county. I love that this place is doing it well.
Foods good and the price isn't terrible but if you're going to eat there make sure you're at the bar or else you won't get any service.
I've lived in the area for a few years but just found this place. The food was excellent! And the owner and staff were very welcoming and warm. This will be a staple for me going forward.
I came here every weekend for a month after my wife and I first came across this place. I love the rotating menu options.
Enjoy this place. Very good Kushiyaki (meat and/or veggies grilled on sticks. Love the Godzilla rice ball (onigiri). The garlic green beans are extremely tasty. Small place with counter facing the kitchen, so get there early. A few tables outside in the back. Cons: the food is so yummy that you end up ordering too many sticks and the cost adds up.
Went there for lunch between tattoos and the two guys working made our visit amazing!!! I didn’t get one of their names but one was Jordan and both of them were absolutely great! Made amazing food and great atmosphere!! Will highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone purely based off the great service we got from these two men!
