One of the best authentic Mexican food spots in Ventura. Daniel is a great guy & chef. Always leave full and satisfied. Big portions at good prices. I recommend eating here in you are in the area and want some Mexican food.
I don't think I got the three tacos I ordered. Seemed more like two, spread out on the plate. Grilled fish was tender, but sparse.
Went in around 5pm to grab us dinner took about 25 min or so to get food which is fine and food was fine chicken nuggets were a little over cooked but that is nothing I would make a big deal about, Came home with a fountain Coke and we got more than half of it down when a nail came up the straw me thinking it was a tiny piece of melted ice until I realized it wasn’t melting in my mouth! I’ve never ever had something like this happen I understand accidents happen but this was disgusting it wasn’t even a clean nail and to think that it was in our drink the whole time! Like I mentioned I don’t usually complain or anything not even with hair in my food I cut hair for a living so I’m used to it but a dirty nail!?? And they were already closed when we got to it so I couldn’t even call and let them know!Maybe wear gloves to prevent this stuff from happening ??
They had wonderful customer service and salsa. But everything else was a big let down.Ordered a cheese enchillada for our daughter - had to get 3, bc that's how they come - and the shredded cheese was completely cold and not melted. Like nothing Ive ever seen before.We ordered burritos, that were just OK.
I highly recommend this place! Aguachiles and asada torta we’re super delicious! No fat on the asada ? and soft, tasty meat. great flavors.I’ll definitely go back here. Great service.
