Amazingly awesome breakfast. Our server Amanda was the best! I got the steak jalapeño omelette, potato’s and biscuit. Ordered a side of pancakes too (cheat day, don’t judge me). Five stars for sure!!
One of our favorite breakfast spots. Today we showed up on a Saturday at 11:40am and our party of 2 sat down immediately. A party of 4 would have been sat immediately too. The food is always beautiful and top notch. I love that they bring everyone a free Swedish pancake with blueberry preserves.
Great gem! Delicious breakfast, with a wide variety to choose from. From the moment we walked in, warm prompt welcome by hostess & manager, it's beautiful clean restaurant with excellent service! Very nice to receive a complimentary Swedish Pancake for each of us. Easy off & on freeway access too.
I've been coming here for over 20 years. The food is very good and the wait staff is always friendly and attentive. California omelette is great! Management here is a joke. The front of house staff are untrained but try to be friendly. They have no clue how to solve problems, and that is a problem. My last take out order was charged to my card, but they claimed they didn't receive it. The manager said he couldn't refund it because "online is a separate company." I ordered through their site. He proceeded to seat more customers and ignored me. I left and contacted them through their website. It makes no sense how this place survives with people like that.
I really love eating here. My son and I had the best waitress. The food was so good too.
We have dined here multiple times during breakfast and lunch hours. Our recent visit was breakfast around 8:30 am on a weekday. The restaurant was busy, but seating was available after 10 minutes. All breakfast items were very good. Omelets were filling with a great variety of ingredients. O’Brien breakfast potatoes were delicious, as were the complimentary Crepes. Coffee was not as good. Had a rather burnt taste to it. Service was very good given how busy they were.
One of the best breakfast I ever had! Delicious food and super friendly/professional staff. Plus, they are super fast with completing their orders… PLUS, super cute dinner ?. First time eating here, but not the last one for sure ?
Been coming here for over 20 years. I can honestly say I haven't had a bad meal, always consistent! Gets crowded on the weekend mornings but you have to know that. Love this place. What's over looked is their lunch menu.....the Club sandwich and steak fries is legit.
My experience today was definitely five star. My hubby & I did wait about 15 minutes. But we came during rush hour (9-10am). As soon as we got seated we were greeted by Loida who was our friendly waitress. I asked her for her which is her favorite plate, she replied the "grilled chicken sandwich". It comes with sourdough bread, avocado, tomato, bacon and cheese. So I took her suggestion and order exactly that. I was satisfied it definitely was delicious. It also came with a side, I choose the pea soup. Which was amazing and good portion. I had some leftovers, you bet I took that in a doggy bag. It is kind of noisy which I don't mind but if you want a quiet breakfast this is definitely not your place. I like the atmosphere everybody's happy The waitresses are kind the food is delicious everything's clean restrooms are clean and yeah five star give it a try. Thank you Loida you were very kind and your hospitality was amazing.
it's my third visit to Eggs and thing's. my first time at the Ventura location. we had a party of ten . they asked us let us know when your hole party arrives. within 10 minutes the manager came outside and seated us until are hole party arrived. I had the waffles and strawberries ? whipped cream of course. and eggs on the side. it's was very good ? not over cooked or burnt. coffee. and service was on point. am definitely going back to this location. and would recommend it to others
