It’s not about quantity but about quality and that was my impression in regards to their menu. Cafe Zack is a hidden gem in Ventura, it is a quaint place for lunch or dinner, super friendly and warm staff who gave us the right amount of attention and space for us to dine and converse with one another. I ordered the pasta dish and basically inhaled it (hahahaha) it was so delicious ! I can’t wait to come back and try their wines and dinner menu !
Cannot say enough about the incredible service at this cute Ventura restaurant. Hector and his daughter and the rest of the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our large and frankly kind of demanding group. I cannot thank them enough for their flexibility and grace. They provide a family feel while still being true professionals.Cafe Zack is an adorable restaurant nestled in a verdant lot in Ventura. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Mostly Italian dishes with some French flair. Impeccable service.
We absolutely loved our meal at Café Zack! My husband and I came for our anniversary and sat on the beautiful heated patio. The food was delicious and I enjoyed one of the best lamb dishes I've ever tasted! I highly recommend a visit.
My husband and I shared a wonderful dinner for our anniversary at Cafe Zack. We sat out on the patio and it was perfectly warm under the heaters - just perfect! The service was excellent and the food exceptional. So pleased we came during our visit!
Cafe Zack is a Ventura must! This cozy little restaurant is tucked on the edge of Downtown/Midtown.I’ve taken my wife here twice and both times we’ve been super impressed! The food is really good. We haven’t had anything that I wouldn’t recommend. I highly recommend the steak. They are tender and great quality.Make sure to try an appetizer as well.For seating options you have a few. You can sit inside, on the patio, or in the back. Both times we went it was cold (Ventura cold) outside. We sat outside the first time, due to the pandemic, and in the patio the second time. We both said it would have been great to come in the summer and sit outside.Enjoy!
Our family enjoyed a beautiful lunch at Cafe Zach... Everything we tasted was fresh, deeply flavorful and beautifully presented. I loved the quinoa salad with roasted vegetables and the floorless chocolate cake was amazing! We're already looking forward to our next meal here!
I wish I could give this place five stars. Honestly, the food is amazing, but after waiting 35 minutes to get a drink order and another 20 actually get said drinks is, frankly, unacceptable. Then after asking for the check, the waitress just prattled on a slew of excuses why it wasn't her fault. Just unprofessional, truthfully.
Absolutely hands down some of the best food in town. The filet mignon is not to be missed . The boar shank was amazing as well
Food is off the charts. Staff works so hard to accommodate. The dining experience is ?!! I would recommend sitting on back porch and ordering the Ranch Creek Barolo, salad, pasta and entree. Incredible!
