This place put Hand Sanitizer (pic), unlabeled, with the other condiments... that SHOULD tell you how poorly it is being managed but I have some more insight if you have the time.Waitress was inattentive to the point of negligence. Never asked about a refill had to be told twice. Knew very little about the menunor dishes we wanted.Food was good but did not match quality to price compared to other restaurants in the area. Swordfish and Salmon Salad were yummy. They depend HEAVILY on the condiments to add flavor instead of being able to trust their cooks... thats a dangerous gamble when you put HAND SANITIZER in the condiment pile...Terrible. Terrible. Terrible.Side Note: they had a Hot Dog eating contest on TV. Good idea the first five minut3s but once people start vomitting you realize the mistake you've made in a restaurant...
Excellent seafood, excellent coleslaw. The rice pilaf is a little salty sometimes, but even taking this into account, this is a solid 5-star restaurant, in my opinion. I had the halibut this last visit, and it was moist and delicious. We also got the clam chowder and a bunch of baked clams, steamed mussels and raw oysters, and everything was phenomenal. I highly recommend trying Brophy Bros.!
Here for two days; went here both nights. Seafood was great, and the Mai Tais were really something too! Waiters were a little uneven, girl first day was great, guy the second day was a little distracted.
We had the calamari appetizer with clam chowder and salad. Everything was amazing and great service with a perfect view of marina.
Very good food and worth the price. You couldn't even find any potatoes in the clam chowder there was so much seafood.
Just had the worst shrimp and "crab" salads I've ever tasted. Shrimp okay but bland. And the "crab"??! Woody, stringy, tasteless. Not a fr5om piece or lump to be found. Must have been off shore import of scrap from secondary legs. Not fit to serve let alone to eat. Service was good, though.
We sat on the balcony, and had a great time! I tried the Brophy Burger (it was listed as a local favorite) and it was outstanding! The shrimp cocktail tasted great! I really enjoyed their cocktail sauce. The service was warm and friendly. Thanks, and we will be back!
Went 3 times prior to this & this is just not goodTonight my halibut was smelling fishy, not good. Got another piece it's frozen fish and they lie. Been a Chef 20 years Top Chef 2014. After I paid my bill; I had to go to Jack in the box to eat something before I went home.. that's not a good sign.. On the water & can't produce fresh fish, makes no sense to me
The clam chowder was delicious. I need to go back when I'm more hungry. This was more of a research and development expedition. The view is great and the staff was extremely friendly.
Wow!!!!Oysters are fresh and delicious.The Margaritas perfectly balanced.Fiah in chips from the hapoy hour menu was well done and plentiful. I left happy amd content from hear.Sit at the bar, order food there. You get to enjoy the seafood being prepped with a good ocean view.
