Spent the day walking around the quaint downtown of Main Street. Stopped here because the sign said not to go past without having a cocktail. What a gem of a place. They had just opened at noon when we dropped in. Rob was our professional bartender who made us two of their house cocktails , spinning shakers and mixers like To Cruise did in “Cocktail”. We ordered “The order of the Phoenix” and a “Montenegro Daiquiri.” Yum! Amanda, the chef, made us two incredible sandwiches. Mine was the best vegetarian sandwich I ever had, called The Game Changer and my husband had The Muffaletta.Amanda and Rob were wonderfully happy to have us as we were to be there! I mean, look at those smiles in the photo! We will definitely be retuning soon.
Modern chic slick cordial bar right off downtown Main Street in Ventura. Nice for a date or a stop before seeing a show. They have some nice snacks on their menu, and sandwiches, but the mixed drinks steal the show. The bartender started in SB and made a bit of name for himself before coming down to downtown Ventura to open this spot. The only reason for 4 of 5 stars is we’ve never loved any drink we have had here, even after 3 visits. We LOVE the creativeness of naming and concocting the drinks but they are always a little bitter for our tastes. Would be nice to have 1-2 more floofy sweet drinks for us weak folk!
Nice place, friendly staff, only did the big cheese/charcuterie was good, very fair value, craft cocktails were fresh and pleasing.
Great space, staff was friendly and working well, excellent cocktails and very low price on the cocktail.
The atmosphere is relaxed and intimate... makes you feel welcomed and at ease. The workers are friendly, and the drinks/food are exquisite! We will definitely be coming back.
This confidence and trust has been what I have craved for in an expert trader for years now and I am so happy to finally get all this from you Mrs George Stephanie for you have proven all what I have heard about you is the true, by investing $500 with Mrs Stephanie I made $6050, it not the profit alone I am glad about but the instant withdrawal into my bank account, I am forever grateful and will tell the world about you, get in touch with her via: Email: [email protected] WhatsApp: +16269898464
Our bartender Alison went above and beyond to take care of us! She made great drinks and when there was an issue with the payment she made sure it was taken care of. I highly recommend this place and cannot speak more highly of Alison.
Cool place... Very nice vibe. Drinks are different and excellent. Fig infused rye in an old fashioned? Yes please.Had a couple of sandwiches and meatballs... Really good. Staff were very friendly. Service was very good.Recommended!
The Bank of Italy Cocktail Trust is a chic and modern cocktail bar housed in a historic building in downtown Ventura near shopping and local landmarks. Our team loved the vibe here!Located in the Bank of Italy building, a 1924 Beaux-Arts style two-story building first used as a bank, the Bank of Italy Cocktail Trust is an Italian-influenced bar and restaurant serving up classic cocktails and drinks with sophisticated style. Head here if you’re looking for a fresh craft spin on Italian cocktails. There’s a bit of mysticism influenced in the decor of the bar with nods to fantastical stories (looking at you Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter fans!) and this magic also gets influenced into the drinks they serve. Let your cocktail cast a spell over you and order a Longbottom (contratto aperitif, gin, lime, grapefruit, tarragon, and tonic), a Gandalf the Grey-hound (vodka, grapefruit, Italian stuff, and lemon), or an Order of the Phoenix (blanco tequila, strawberry, campari, vanilla, mezcal, bitter rhubarb, and lemon). If classic cocktails are more your speed, order a traditional Negroni or try one with a twist. Their Coffee Negroni is made with gin, bitter aperitif, Vermouth, (local) Coffee Collective cold brew, Amaro di Angostura, and cacao. The Negroni Rosado is an inventive blend of mezcal, Cocchi Rosa Aperitif, grapefruit oils, Dry Vermouth, Oaxacan rum, and gentian. You may not recognize all these ingredients, but trust us, they are all delicious.
The staff was very helpful and nice, and the drinks were fantastic! The interior is spot on to set the theme but its not over the top and really adds to your experience. I would recommend the Gandalf the Grey drink if you like grapefruit, and the Sleigh Ride if you want a boozy coffee drink. Overall, I would go back and recommend to others.
