Stopped by on our way to Los Angeles; this place is a gem! Great atmosphere, music and murals help set this place apart; the staff is very friendly. One of the best fish tacos I've ever had; we also ordered a side of beans and rice (the beans were authentic and great!). Definitely coming back!
AMAZING!!! Flavor is terrific with great portions for the Fish and Shrimp Tacos. Ceviche was spectacular. Agua fresca Watermelon was beyond refreshing.Everything I tried has had me wanting more.Staff was great and fast. I can not wait to go back and definitely will soon. NEW BEST SPOT!!!
What a pleasant discovery! This is a family run place with great flavor and hospitality. They put pickled onions on the tacos which are a special touch. Great portions. The strawberry agua fresca was so refreshing!
Wow! This spot is SOLID! We came here after a surf lesson and it was the best post surf meal. We tried the fish tacos, shrimp tacos, and carne asada tacos are all of them were flavorful and incredible! The fish and shrimp were great sized pieces, had amazing flavor, and a nice breading. The carne asada surprised us by how tender and smoky it was. The sauces were all amazing and the homemade tortillas made it even better!
Excellent food, but even better service! The wonderful people working here are seriously some of the nicest people I’ve met. They were really thoughtful, asking how our food was and they even gave us a free round of carnitas! The fish and carne asada burritos are SUPER delicious!! The burritos are REALLY big, so unless you’re super hungry, I’d definitely recommend splitting with a friend. Seriously y’all, check this place out. They’re just starting out and they want to spread the word about it, so come check it out if you’re ever in Ventura!! ?? ? ? ?♂️
Super awesome place. The food, service, abs atmosphere are all fantastic. 100% recommend. Plus, they gave us a full order of carnitas on the house. These guys are awesome.
Let me say, at first I wasn't intimidated by the prices, but I have to say now after I've had the food do not, I repeat do not, be intimidated by the prices! The food is amazing and well worth every dollar you spend.The family who owns this shop is from Mexico, ensenada, and is well knowledge of the food they're making and how they're making it. Personally I would say get the fish tacos they are amazing and die for!Then, I would also recommend getting the orchestra with whipped cream and sprinkles on it. When you have that take a small sample of the whipped cream with sprinkles into your mouth and drink it in the combination of the flavors is amazing!!!If you're looking for a great fish tacos this is a place to definitely go to and I would 100% recommend this place as a good place to eat at.
Best fish taco I've ever had! No joke. The attention to detail in flavor is awesome. Big piece of fried fresh fish. Refreshing and delicious. A MUST try in Ventura County. Right next to the beach. Amazing service, very friendly staff. 10/10 will be back again!
i want to say these are the best shrimp and fish tacos i have ever had in my life! the way they season them and the overall taste was something i will never forget! i will definitely be coming back to this place over and over!! thank you guys for the great food and great and friendly customer service!
I’ve been hearing great things about Baja since they’ve been under new ownership so I finally ordered food there. I’m not even finished eating and rushed to write a review because the food is so good! I ordered fish tacos and got two, expecting them to be small but they’re actually really big. The pieces of fish are so light and delicious and the flavor in their sauce is amazing! Not only is the food amazing but the service was great too! My food was ready in less than 8 minutes and everyone was so friendly, definitely a family vibe. If you’re looking for a great place to eat with affordable prices and great service, this is the place! Perfect little spot in the Ventura Harbor!
