Stopped at Anacapa as an old national park guide recommended it for a place to go after you went to Channel Islands NP. So glad we did! The service was great, the food was great, and the beer was delicious. We got fish and chips and the Newport sandwich(customized to brioche bun). The beer battering on broth made both the fish and chicken so light. The tarter sauce was dill forward and was super delicious. The hot sauce on the chicken had a good kick and the chicken was super juicy. Highly recommend this spot. However, if you're taking Google directions heads up the street it's on is shut down as its now all walkable space. park in any of the local lots and it's a short walk.

It was the most kind experience. The waiter was most accommodating and knew the menu well. Suggestions on the wine and beer. We were all happy with his recommendations. While most had the fish and chips (they liked it), I got the Sheczwhan (sp?) salad with grilled chicken. The salad was amazing ? and worth $18. I will be back! Thank you to the staff and chefs ❤

We went there twice for dinner during our stay in Ventura. They have decent brewery pub food, mainly burgers, salads, some pizzas and pastas and a good selection of beears and some reasonable wines. Ventura has closed Main Street for traffic, so all the bars and restaurants have put out their tables in the street, which creates a nice atmosphere. The food was tasty and the service was good. One of my favourite places in Ventura.

We used to really enjoy this spot, but it’s changed. Beers are okay, food not so great. Go there for a burger and you’ll be okay, but anything more it’s very overpriced for the quality of food. Calamari came cold, and just frozen calamari sticks. For $17. Salads were plain. Kids meals were pricey for Kraft Mac n Cheese. We didn’t love it, didn’t hate it but wouldn’t return for a meal. Good for a beer and simple burger.

Nice brewery with good bar seating. Service was good and although we did not eat all the food that passed by looked like good pub fare! We had a couple of drafts and watched the game.

So glad they brought back the Thai chicken pasta! Perfect combination of heat and comfort food. It’s my go to every time!!

Always come here for at least 1 meal when in town. As usual is was great! My favorite is the waffles and chicken. They are always delicious! Nice sitting outside listening to nearby live music. Hopefully Main street stays this way a bit longer!

Great food and beer. Nice weather helped too.

Beer was delicious. Food was unfortunately not very good. Sandwich was pathetic yet marketed as overloaded with cheese. Cobb salad was rather bland. The dressing was good, however the beans and corn were poor quality. Pizza was ok. We did enjoy the atmosphere though!

Great service and nice atmosphere. The food was marginal at best. Burned and greasy onion rings, a burger so greasy that even the roll itself was greasy. It was dripping down my arms, topped with ice cold caramelized onions that seemed to have been made previously a left in the fridge. The fries were tiny and clearly pre-frozen, and over cooked in a deep fryer that doesn’t seem to have been cleaned or set to the proper temp, leaving everything just dripping with grease. My partner had fish tacos. Good sized portions, but each taco started with a pile of cabbage. Not cold slaw, just raw cabbage. On top of that was a single tiny slice of an avocado, and then a large over cooked, grease laden fish portion. I’ve been in the restaurant business for years and can tell you that these were just frozen chunks of fish, likely haddock or pollack that were taken from the freezer and tossed in a deep fryer. Not an unheard of way to make a fish taco, but again the fryer wasn’t cleaned or set properly. A properly deep fried piece of fish is light, crispy, never greasy, and flakes apart as you eat it. Honestly these chunks of what were advertised as “Icelandic cod” tasted no different that the onion rings. We live in the fresh fish capital of the west coast. The restaurant sits a mile from Ventura fishing harbor. Why they would be resorting to “Icelandic cod,” aka boxes of fish that had been frozen for a month, is beyond me.Again, great service, and the food wasn’t “bad” to eat. But between the three of us, with no alcohol, we spent $100 on lunch. It’s not an inexpensive meal and based on price we would have been far better off at In and Out Burger for $15, or spending $120 and eating at the steak house up the street.
