It was taco Tuesday! $4 tacos. We Sat on the upper level great view of the area. Nice little place to unwind.
Great spot right on the beach, with lots of outdoor seating and heaters to keep you warm. Really busy but service was quick. The food was great, but expensive for what it was.
Service by our waitress was not great. Ex: Had to request water 3 times. Only one meal came out. A gentleman who seemed to be bussing tables noticed and corrected it. He was far more attentive than our waitress. *When the check came, it was a different waitress who brought it. It was interesting that they take your credit card before you order and even pre charge you before you are done. I assume this is because people may walk out on their bill, but yet they are the ones to worry about. Our bill came with $48 worth of drinks we did not order. When I pointed it out, it took another 20 minutes for her to return with the corrected bill. Food was good, but not worth the money, aggravation and attempt to overcharge for items not ordered.
Here’s a place that’s been head by the Covid virus for the positive the streets are filled with tents and outdoor patios and the wailers got the biggest and is constantly in touch with local activities the food is outstanding and you’ve got a great beach window available so you can get all the delicious food for the wheeler on the beach at Venice
Good food, fair prices given the area, and a great location. Everything was good and the service was excellant.
I live around the corner and it’s great that this place got revamped. Love the beach view, atmosphere, and relaxed vibe. Checked this place out for the first time since new branding and really like it better. The outdoor patio is warm. Their heaters are strong. Service is GREAT. Klara was our waitress and as busy as it was, she was so fast and on top of it. I had a short career as a waitress a long time ago. I got fired because of my attitude but I was fast. Klara gave us perfect service when amidst NBA playoffs. IF YOU DONT TIP AT LEAST 20 PERCENT, STAY AT HOME.
Great atmosphere, friendly staff, great food pizza and wings specifically. The waitress did mess up the bill but we didn’t catch it on time
The restaurant is right on the beach! Every time I have went it has always been super busy. It’s your typical beach bar and restaurant and you are really just coming for the views and drinks. It could be a little cleaner, but it is a good time.
The Venice whaler is at a premium location on Venice Beach. It's awesome for people watching, for watching the sunset, and just being at Venice Beach.You can find nearby parking on the beach or at various public parking locations nearby.The service here is amazing, very helpful and friendly staff. The menu is extensive and there is a little something for everyone. We had the fish tacos, the chicken bites, the seafood chowder and some cocktails. The chowder was all right. The chicken bites were good and the fish tacos were kind of bland for my taste.The five-star rating is for the epic location of this restaurant and awesome ambiance and vibe and bonus points for the huge menu and generally decent food quality and presentation.
Last minute stop off to watch the Sunset and wow what an experience it was amazing absolutely beautiful. Had cocktails & drinks and more than intended nearly missed my flight the next day lol. Also ate and the food was great. Our 1st server was amazing but she finished shift and the next one was rubbish you had to keep chasing for anything but overall lovely place
