Nice venue with great music and well priced drinks and food..Only complaint is they are still asking for proof of vaccination. Doesn't really make sense to me at this point and if you don't have it they want you to wear a mask.
Such a nice and beautiful venue with friendly staff. They have a great sounds system and always the best bands that come through! Their bathrooms are really cool and clean also. Definitely recommend hanging out there for some drinks and music!
Gorgeous space! I went there for brunch the food was fantastic and they had mimosas. The guava mimosa wasnt too great but all the food was fantastic! The space is large and there was a band playing which was good. I want to go back for Comedy Night.
The staff is very friendly. Food was ok, but I do recommend the Pepperoni and Honey pizza, that was very tasty. They have a variety of alcoholic drinks, but do lack more selection of good beer. The band, Pato Banton, put on a really good performance. I loved their vibe. The place is clean, that's always a plus to me.
The manager Carl and the server Andres were awesome. They were both very accommodating and gracious. They gave us great advice for visiting their establishment in the future. I highly recommend this place.
Great venue. Beautiful. Really good service. Great crowd. I saw The Rev solo so I'm a little biased about the act but this place stands on its one.
Great place to go for happy hour. They have a 2 drink mix and match or food and drink special for 15 bucks that you can’t beat. Love going there to have a drink and bite to eat before heading home and telling the gf how great her cooking is.
This place is the best! The West-Side has been missing a great live music venue and I'm so glad The Venice West stepped in to fill the void.You won't find a friendlier staff. Reverend Carl is the GM and a celebrity, especially in Santa Monica/Venice. He'll make you laugh while also ensuring you get great service and have a fantastic time.The bands are killer, the sound is awesome, and the food and drinks are spectacular.Make sure you don't overlook their mix n' match cocktail hour. Perfect smallish music bar for live performances. Good selection of drinks, some small bites, too. Music was loud but still within safe levels. Friendly and efficient staff. Interesting performers coming up.
The Venice West is simply and undoubtedly the BEST venue this town had ever had. I have been to only a handful of shows there since opening, but they book the cream of the crop in musical talent, the menu is awesome (classy exciting options and combos that can satisfy foodies with more sophisticated palettes and still cater to those who do not). The staff? I have witnessed nothing greater. Thank you reverend carl for always looking sharp and looking out for your patrons comfort and happiness. When you’ve been only your second time, he will greet you like a magician and welcome you home! Draw the curtains when the actions starts and like a pit boss in a casino seems to be aware of every action and on top of making sure everyone is stoked and having a great time in this remarkable establishment. The level of care for guests is something brought back from a bygone era and amazing to watch!
